“It is difficult for a man to understand something if he’s paid not to understand it.” ~ Upton Sinclair.

By Catherine Austin Fitts

Jon Rappoport joins me this week to explore a phenomenon we are all grappling with – communicating with people who believe in realities that diverge from our own.

Everywhere we turn there is an “official narrative” or “official reality.” That “reality” often diverges painfully from the reality that we deal with day to day.

For those who reject the official narrative, it is easy to wander into a maze of other realities, of which many are equally divergent from our own and more misleading than the official reality.

Spice up the mix with professional disinformation, “divide and conquer” media, and entrainment and subliminal programming and other mind control techniques, and then our human communication can quickly become a puzzle palace that challenges the best of us.

This is a topic that fascinates me – however, I find it difficult to generalize. Communications in passing conversation are quite different from conversations involving health or financial decisions involving legal and financial risk. Managing communications about divergent realities at a cocktail party is very different from managing them with your spouse. Given the complexity of our society, the fact patterns expand quickly.

If there is one thing driving productivity lower in our society, it is the complexity, frustration, and loneliness that can arise with communications in this Orwellian soup. It is critical that we each develop strategies for navigating the challenges of communicating effectively with family, friends, and colleagues. It is one thing to be “in the know.” It is another thing to communicate effectively with those who are not and don’t want to be “in the know.”

For many years, I have turned to Jon Rappoport’s writings, audios, and consultations for help to understand these issues and to remain coherent in the midst of the “psychic storm.” Jon consistently inspires me to create my own reality, rather than falling into the pea soup of the official narrative designed to harvest us all. We close with a review of the great resources he offers at No More Fake News to help you do the same.

In Let’s Go to the Movies, I will review “Seymour: An Introduction.” Directed by Ethan Hawke, the film describes the life and philosophy of Seymour Bernstein, who abandoned a rising career as a concert pianist to become a music educator and composer. Bernstein inspires us to appreciate how music is one of the great communicators.

I will address the latest market developments in Money & Markets. Email or post your questions for Ask Catherine here.

Talk to you Thursday!

With the ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology expect more Bible locations to be found

  2. Hi Catherine,

I just finished listening to the interview today. I think for some people it is hard to believe people can be so evil and its scary so they go back into their shell.` It is also encouraging to see there are more and more people waking up and realizing what is happening. I have found a lot of radio shows who are getting the truth out. By the way did you happen to see the article about the Mainstream Media collapsing in front of our eyes? If I remember correctly Mr. Goodwin from NY Post wrote the article.

By the way, wasn’t there a post earlier concerning Pistes Sophia http://www.pistissophia.org with an interview on the site last week? I wanted to comment that there is nothing like first hand account by John on Jesus versus a document from Egypt. Also, there was a comment about the bible being “edited by the Catholic Church”. Really, the core of the bible (Gospels, Paul’s Letters and John’s writings) were already in gathered during the first and second century. Eusebius wrote a book concerning church history about 325 ad. . http://www.bible-researcher.com/eusebius.html The Catholic Church came about 1050 Ad so there is considerable time between the two. But, I whole heartily agree it is hard to trust the Catholic Church once you get past the 1050 date, especially this current Pope. There are a lot off exciting arechological discoveries happening which confirm the Bible. Im posting this little video which showed how they put the pieces together for the Qumran documents.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kaXYgyG8RS4
I hope you like it. Its about 12 minutes.

    Have a good week.

    Catherine,

I came across this video on another podcast that I listen to and I thought you and your audience might find it quite interesting. It may explain some of the psychology behind the mind control technology.

From IMDB: Are you a unique individual? Are you a rebel – or do you give into peer pressure? If you think you have full control of your thoughts and actions – think again. It turns out the clothes you wear, the food you eat, and even the way you walk has less to do with you and more to do with everyone else. We’ll explore the idea that your brain may be hardwired to want to fit in.

    1. Will take a look. Adam Curtis made several documentaries on these issues that are quite good.

  4. On a separate note, you might want to have your Web designer take a look at how the comments appear in these subscriber comment areas. The words sometimes appear a little too close together when they’ve been posted.

    1. Now that I’m reading this on my Safari browser on my iPad, the words in the subscriber posts aren’t looking too close together. But that was happening when I was reading the posts with the Firefox browser on my PC.

  5. Thanks for this wonderful interview, Catherine! Like many others I’m challenged with communicating to people who are convinced that if what I’m telling them was really true, they’d be hearing about it on CNN, on Fox, or in the Huffington Post. It was great to hear you recommend showing documentaries to people on these important subjects also, and this is what I’ve already decided is my best approach, too. It’s very difficult to convince people about what’s really going on in a conversation when they’re buying into the “official” reality, but showing them a very well done documentary that presents a compelling case, with great facts to back it up with, and very little wiggle room to not believe it’s all true, is a great way to go. With this in mind I love getting people to see the “Vaxxed”, “Burzynski”, and “Cancer: The Forbidden Cures” movies. Vaxxed is now available to stream online as you’ve now posted on the Solari Home Page, and the other two movies are available to watch on YouTube. In addition, I’ve read the book that Jon Rappoport recommended to Solari subscribers several years ago, “Politics in Healing”, and it’s one of the most important books I’ve ever read. Anyone who reads this book will be blown away at all the great details it presents on 10 scientists who developed powerful, effective holistic ways to cure cancer and other illnesses, and how they were then systematically all shut down by the medical authorities.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you develop along the lines of working with Solari subscribers to create an entirely new Field, and I’m interested in learning more and potentially contributing towards this.

    1. Good!

I try never to persuade someone who is not interested in know. My focus is helping people who want the knowledge. If someone does not want to know, I feel it is important to respect their wishes.

      1. I completely agree with you, Catherine. We need to focus on bringing the message to the people who may not know it and understand it right now, but they’re open-minded and they’re willing to listen to it.

  6. I recently mentioned to my children that they didn’t grow up saying, “It’s a free country.” Great minds think alike (or as my Aussie friend likes to respond, fools never differ).

About a central bank bitcoin/digital currency. Mr. Global clearly wants a gov’t digital currency, possibly worldwide, and to that end has been experimenting in Sweden. I used to think that the move would be difficult in many third world countries where most people don’t have bank accounts. Then I read the trial balloon in the WSJ a month ago. What they are proposing is not just an official bitcoin, they are proposing shutting down banks since they won’t be needed. Even if the poor don’t have bank accounts, they have cell phones.

My friend, Dan Amerman, (you really should interview him) pointed out that the s&l crisis wiped out a significant feature of American small town life, the local banker. The local banker knew the local businesses, knew his neighbors, and was generally a wealthy community leader. The s&l crisis made him extinct leaving a substantial whole in the local economy. What has grown up since is many credit unions that sort of fill the same function. How many jobs will be lost if the gov’t bitcoin is rolled out? Certainly, local banking will be a thing of the past.

Why the trial balloon about gov’t bitcoin now? Mr. Global probably isn’t worried about the “deflation” (wrong term, btw) of tech innovation, but probably is worried about the trap of NIRP/ZIRP. He could roll out a govt bitcoin that is not debt backed. With true fiat money, Mr. Global would never fear deflation again. Weimar Republic here we come.

Also, Catherine, I’m extremely skeptical of all this advanced energy/space tech that you keep talking about. It’s doubtful that NASA was successful with the Apollo project. A growing group of researchers has been exposing the Moon Hoax. The Mars missions are ridiculous, with one group showing pretty convincingly that the photography is done in Canada. There’s even a lemming in one of the pix on the NASA website. Recently, the Daily Bell has been discussing the nuclear weapons hoax. All the false flags and hoaxes have me more and more demanding real evidence for the claims of government sources. We must always ask, “How do we know what we know?” I mean, i watched some of the space conference you posted and came away completely underwhelmed. Seemed little more than rehashed comic book stuff to me.

    1. I agree with Jay Weidner’s theory. We went to the moon, but we showed the public a film. So I believe we have and are making a significant investment in space. I would beware of the Daily Bell discussion on nuclear weapons. Good to be skeptical thought, I agree. Our world is rife with lies.

      1. I just listened to Weidner on Red Ice Radio and he said that the whole apollo project was a fake, although he does say that the money was shunted into black op and secret space. I assume you don’t want a back and forth about this, or at least not here. Be that as it may, assigning astounding technical achievements to a bunch of flunky government workers–or even government contractors–seems pretty dubious. It seems much more plausible that they invent all manner of magical abilities to scare us. That’s demonstrable what they did with the cold war. And that was the only instance? Even though it worked so well???

        1. I bought his 2 set DVD. He proposed that they probably went to the moon but had Kubrick film a version for public consumption. I assume a Red Ice Radio show was more recent, so not sure what happened.

  7. VERY insightful observation that no one says, “It’s a free country” anymore since the late 1990’s…..they also don’t say, “I’m an American, I have rights.” When I lived in Manhattan, it was around 1997 when I met in passing a young Asian woman who had become a corporate attorney, but saw through all the illusions. She particularly was mystified whenever someone said, “I’m an American, I have rights” and her reply was, “What rights might those be?” At the time, I didn’t understand her point; after years of maturity (and the Solari Report, Jon Rappoport, etc) I now understand exactly what she meant.

  8. Hi Catherine,

Mr. Rappoport is such a great guest.

My experience in official reality vs reality is that I’m instantly labeled as a conspiracy theorist. I hate that title because it immediately dismisses anything I have to say. I would get into fights with family, friends, Facebook fights, you name it.

What I know now, is that the mind control techniques are hugely successful but there’s more than mind control and that’s fear. The fear of their reality, the world we live in is a big fat lie and it’s scary. I’ve noticed when I engage in these discussions, I look at the other person’s facial expressions, I see them thinking, and I can tell that things don’t add up to them but they still hold on to the official reality because the real reality is too much to bear. I’ve learned to be kinder because of it. It’s a process of breaking down multiple layers before accepting the world for what it is. That’s what happened for me. It was the breaking down of multiple layers. It took me a long time to get here and find people like you. 16 years when I got back from living in Paris to NYC and seeing the ruins at ground zero for the first time. I immediately knew the official story did not add up. I’ll never forget it.

Patience and kindness is far more affective than smashing reality. Smashing reality shuts people down. They act like children plugging their ears and screaming nah nah nah just to avoid hearing it.
