  1. Hi, I would comment that if they are taking action, the priority would be news like this. Iran was also mentioned, I can only say I don’t think there is no action there. The big problem for the US and UK Governments is the so called war on terror, something happened, but I cannot believe the story we are told is even plausible. We’ve lost our credibility, this does not help at all!

  2. Sounds like he’s talkinga about Haarp. Maybe they are too busy melting the icecaps with it to use on NK. Got to have that climate change or no personal carbon credit scam in the future.

  3. simple paranoia from former Speaker now consultant for FOXNews ; besides the real threat from the NK’s Caligula , if you lived in Japan during the past forty years you will understand that NK’s permanent fear is partly alimented by the US, means that without the Japanese being constantly and daily stressed by NK Japan cannot justify the presence of US bases ,just Okinawa has a strong 40,000 US men.

  4. Red herring are best served in a crisis environment. Continuing military spending serves the beast we are forced to feed with our labor and taxes. The game hasn’t changed, just the dogs and ponies in the show. An EMP doesn’t need a launch vehicle, these stooges are well aware of this, but the show must go on.

  5. Looks like Gingrich’s statements were way too inflammatory, because the “retraction” message is flatout lie. “The following article has been retracted by the editors because it misrepresents what the speaker said. Mr. Gingrich said that North Korea could pose a more serious threat because it might use an electromagnetic pulse weapon, not that the country should be attacked with such a weapon by the United States.”

Anyone who saw the clip would disagree with the retraction, because the Fox reporter asked Gingrich to clarify.

  6. Take out the equivalent of 1/3 of the US grid? Population wise, 1/3 US = JAPAN.

So I have a weird hypothesis of the North Korea missile launch.

    1. If North Korea’s sole purpose of existence is as a proxy of China
(so NK is a buffer state between US, Japan, & China)

    2. And this missile launch is clearly perceived as a warning/threat to Japan

    3. Then the main purpose of the launch is to make it domestically unpopular for Japan’s politicians to ever side with China over the United States, in currency matters or otherwise. Japan’s population must be pretty confused why Japan rarely strays from US positions.

    4. Hence, ChinAmerica will continue. China just proved its “love.”

And Newt just said that we can knock out Japan’s entire power grid if we have to.

Japan is a manufacturing powerhouse that relies on electricity.NK doesn’t have much of a power grid, according to those worldwide nighttime photos contrasting North Korea, South Korea, & Japan.
Would an EMP even stop a missile launcher? Is a missile launcher even on a grid? Maybe an EMP would fry electronics (i wouldn’t know)…but NK to me seems to be playing a goofy role in a play, like always.
