  1. Wow! What a delight! Thank you, Lori! Thank you Catherine n John for mentioning this song in Money Markets. I needed this in my life: art as therapy. What a positive way of releasing yuckiness. Once again, my Solari community to the rescue.

  2. What a gift. Thank you Lori! I will hear this tune in my head and mentally hum along as I use cash in my transactions at large to push back!

  3. This is pretty good. She reminds me a lot of Bonnie Raitt, particularly her cover of Runaway by Del Shannon, with Norton Buffalo on harp. The only thing I would suggest is that the early reference to transhumanism is pretty abrupt for people who aren’t familiar with the topic. I would put it towards the end when she is rapping and replying to the rap. You don’t want to send peoples heads spinning early in the song when you’re trying to draw them in.

  4. I heard Lori’s marvelous song played this morning on CHD’s “Financial Freedom” –and it was great! Just so encouraging for hearts and spirits. Happy for Lori. Sing on!

  5. Wow, it’s a great song and it actually describes what most people can’t understand. No hyperbole here— just truth! I’ll share this in some good channels.

  6. Lori, I Love this! I am downloading the chords, making my hubby strum it on his guitar and will belt my heart out all weekend! I agree with Eileen, mail the lyric chord sheet to yourself via cert mail or ASCAP. As a teen I opened as a solo singer for country music bands for a few years and loved watching my musicians create/write and perform in our downtime. I tried to write music but I wasn’t very good at it, but I loved recording/performing from demos that my producer and agents would find. Your talent is amazing! So proud of you! God Bless, Jennifer

    1. That’s great news – we gotta keep singing – glad to hear you’re belting it out!

  7. Lori, I love this song! Wonderful. Great blues. Great lyrics. What a gift. Thank you so much. Hope it goes to the top of the charts. Would you consider sending it to Van Morrison in Ireland?….just a thought for you because he came out against the lockdowns early on and I think he wrote one song about freedom. If you are a member of ASCAP they will help you copywrite it, or you can do “the poor man’s copyright” which is you write the chords and music down and sign it as your song and then you bring it to the post office and send it to yourself at your address certified mail requiring a signature. Never open it. The date on the envelope by the US Post Office on the unopened letter is proof in a court of law. Anyway, just really like this beautiful musical creation! Keep singing!

    1. Van Morrison – a true voice – yes – hope he hears this too. His sass would add a whole level to it.
Maybe he could lean on Eric Clapton to play guitar – ha!

      1. Yes Lori, that is a GREAT idea to have Van Morrison do this. Your background music is perfect. After what Eric Clapton suffered from taking the shots I would think he would be totally into it. One more important thing, your voice should also be in the recording; it’s amazing. Thank you.

      2. I agree! Van Morrison & Clapton would love this, I just know it! Send it to them ASAP!
