  1. I have two grandsons who live near me and the other day we we’re riding in the car playing songs and this one came up. Keegan, the elder and 6 years old, sang along. Later on his Grandmother asked if he could sing “We the people” and he said he could, but was a bit shy about it. She eventually coaxed him into it and he sang it just the way Tom did on his recording…complete with Texas accent and the accentuating pauses. It was amazing. His mom heard him sing it later and was impressed, but I think she’s beyond being impressed by her son. Like all children, he is pretty special and so is his younger brother, Donvan, who also sings. I’ll check out the one by Lynn Abrams. Thanks for the input.
