We’re excited to share our newest Song Around The World, “The Weight,” featuring musicians performing together across 5 continents. Great songs can travel everywhere bridging what divides us and inspiring us to see how easily we all get along when the music plays. Special thanks to our partner Cambria® for helping to make this possible and to Robbie Robertson, Ringo Starr and all the musicians for joining us in celebrating 50 years of this classic song.

Catherine, With so many subjects dividing people, music will always be glue that brings people together.
The song “The weight” is 50 years old originally the creation of Robbie Robertson and The Band . The lyrics has the aroma of Dylan’s style.
Notice that the performers are all outside in their element, nature. Music vibrates better outside in what God created. I call it God’s domaine or God’s house.
Doesn’t Ringo look great for his age? He will be 80 next month, it must be because he loves to eat broccoli. And Robbie has not lost his “kool” look.
I have been going to a workout facility where we work out doors next to beautiful cow pastures. There is plenty of room because they are observing the distancing rules. It is at the end of the day – the light is remarkable. Air is very high % oxygen. Wonderfu.
You are finding some Catherine time at the end of the day. Do this. Write the word “breathe” on sticky notes and put them on items in your living environment. Computer, refrigerator, bathroom mirror etc. It will remind you to take deep long breathing exercises during your activities during the day. No little b.s. shallow breathing, but deep lung expansion ones as it will assist in keeping the elasticity of your lungs. Remember oxygen is free
I do breathing exercises twice a day. I am in an apartment that has wonderful air – regularly breeze and wind that inspires you always to breathe deeply. The oxygen here is very good!
Sweet stuff.
The greatest
I love the round the world songs.
One of my favorite Sting albums was when he organized musicians from around the world. They took his music to a “beyond invention” place. It was the Fragile tour. Branford Marsalis on sax did an improvization in Tokyo at the last concert that lifted me into hyperdimensional space.
When it comes to the Weight, one of favorites is Aretha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGdxpnGK2o4
Another is the Band with the Staples https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccJTFXvkXkA
