“There will come a time when it isn’t ‘They’re spying on me through my phone’ anymore. Eventually, it will be ‘My phone is spying on me’.”
~ Phillip K. Dick
By Catherine Austin Fitts
Jon takes on a very serious topic this week. What is the chilling effect of living in a surveillance state? Indeed, our challenge is not just that there may be no privacy. Our challenge is that we are literally not allowed to speak freely. Among other examples, Jon talks about the Texas teenager who has been in prison since March as a result of making a joke while playing an on line video game.
Helping understand the psychology created by surveillance, can also help you understand how to navigate it with the minimum cost to you in terms of losing time, attention or the ability to exercise your freedom and creativity. Just as you carry an umbrella in the rain, we want The Solari Report to help you be able to put up your psychological and spiritual umbrellas and proceed to enjoy your life come what may.
As always, Jon’s insights are original and profound, reflecting as rich an understanding of the phenomenon we are dealing with as exists today.
It’s Jon’s show this week – so no Money & Markets. Do post your questions for us on the blog!

Everyone is.
For 24 hours tell everyone by phone and in front of your computer video camera that you are depressed and watch how long it takes for you to start getting e-mails selling solutions for your depression.
Or simply talk about buying vacuum cleaners.

How many subscribers are dealing with intense persistent surveillance? Are your neighbors, friends, family members, work associates, or anyone you might know? Would you be a witness, stand by a friend, or keep your distance to protect yourself, and family?
I find it fascinating that the US is recreating a state like Russian under Stalin. We have lost the “cold war”, and we have lost our way. How sad! I fail to understand the purpose.

I’m listening to you on the mp3, talking about creative things to do. Coincidentally, I just received an email about seniors singing at the Wisconsin Capitol being arrested yesterday. They weren’t held long and then were soon back talking to the news reporters, so the article says. Good creative stuff.

Mahalo again Jon for your time and energy.
Aloha Jon, It is different now by how the police can come to your door, walk in and take you away because they feel like it or have been given an order to round you or your neighborhood up. The Boston incident whether you believe it was real or a false flag was a good test on throwing people out of their homes, the last “safe” haven for each of us. Some people reported they were out of their homes for more than 12 hours. Elderly women in their bath robes, mothers and fathers carrying small children. The vulnerability and powerlessness level shot through the roof.
Here on Maui, our police department got their first Bearcat bullet proof vehicle this month. The local paper said it was a “rescue vehicle”. We the people paid $230,000.00 for this rescue vehicle. We’re all scratching our heads wondering who/what this is for. I’ve got a hunch.
It is good to keep the conversation going so one can be aware. When you’re aware, you can make better informed choices. Awareness gives you the ability to cherry pick your battles and platforms to move in. Choice is still alive.
That old saying “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” comes to mind. Eyes wide open.
I feel it is important at this point in the game to stabilize oneself against the energies of fear and terror pulsing at us. If you pray or meditate or sit in the nothingness, build those energies within yourself. We’re all going to die at some point but it is about how one dies. I’ve died several times in this short life so far. Stabilize yourselves in your personal truth. . Love your family and neighbors. Help people out when you can. Live and die in a good life, one you can be proud of. Continue to do the right thing.
Much Aloha from the Island of Maui and thanks for caring and giving us your information,
Sher
P.S. Just hanging around with Jon and Catherine, being on this website could get you in trouble. lol but I’m still here, because it is my free choice.
I would like someone to tell me how to access the most unfriendly site I’ve come across! Ipod? Where are the past reports? Is there some instruction as to how to navigate this site? D. Stewart Armstrong
Stewart:
Appreciate the feedback. I have asked our customer service to contact you for some personal instruction. Hope that helps.

This will be my first post on the Solari report.
With the surveillance state on our minds and creating more paranoia than ever before, what comes to mind is this: how is this level of surveillance so very different than what has been done in the past, other than now it is more “legal” by virtue of the Patriot Act? I don’t agree with any loss of the now limited freedom we have, but I am just bot surprised by what has been enacted. Big Brother has been with us for so many years.
So how is this different now?
Tomie:
I am with you – I think this has been going on for a long, long time.
However, the technology makes it possible to be much more invasive at lower cost. So the intensity is growing. In addition, more and more people are becoming aware of the surveillance. It has been relatively invisible to many people.
