After flying through Amsterdam, I arrived in Tallinn this evening. The temperature is -7 and the air is dry, crisp and clear. I am staying at St. Olav Hotel in the Old Town near the Von Krahl Theatre. The hotel is beautiful, and my room looks out over the medieval town, covered with snow. Everyone is asleep, leaving Old Town silent and ripe with a spirit of wonder.
