  1. Greetings!
I am just wondering… I live in northern Minnesota. Last winter I pre-bought 600 gallons of propane in order to, hopefully, save money heating my home. I prepaid at the rate of $2.46 per
gallon. When all was said and done, I wasted money as in fact the price dropped considerably below
$2.46. Now, the company is offering a pre-buy rate for the 2009-2010 heating season, with a deadline of before June 1. They are now offering a rate of $1.54 per gallon of propane. This, of
course, is much cheaper than last year’s rate, but perhaps it’ll still be high when all is said and done. I realize no one has a working crystal ball, but I’m just wondering if your best guess
would be to go ahead and pay for 600 gallons at $1.54 or would you wait and pay during the heating
season, hoping that the price would fall below $1.54? Thanks, if possible, for any thoughts!
    Mary
