Freedom is never lost. Freedom is a war.
~ Jon Rappoport

By Catherine Austin Fitts

Many constitutional issues are currently being hotly debated and litigated—not least those related to the First and Second Amendments and financial transaction freedom. In this environment, states’ constitutionally guaranteed power to assert state sovereignty has never been a more important bulwark against tyranny.

Attorney and constitutional scholar Dr. Edwin Vieira is a leading expert on constitutional issues. Vieira’s brilliant book titled Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution is one of the finest pieces of scholarship on the U.S. monetary and banking systems that I know of.

In his past appearances on the Solari Report, Vieira emphasized the importance of enforcing the Constitution and pushing back against disingenuous attempts to change or “update” it, which would only advance covert sovereignty-destroying agendas. In the context of today’s escalating attacks on financial freedom, we can all benefit from once again tapping into Dr. Vieira’s deep understanding of constitutional issues.
