~ Based on negative feedback from Solari Report subscribers who ordered Bob Braxman’s cell phone and were not able to access adequate tech support or refund, we do not recommend it. ~
“The telephone is the greatest nuisance among conveniences, the greatest convenience among nuisances.”
~ Robert Staughton Lynd
By Corey Lynn and James White
For those of us who are old enough to remember, making a series of phone calls once entailed collecting a pocketful of dimes, then using your MacGyver driving skills to pull close enough to the payphone while not demolishing your side mirror in the process. Oh, how things have changed!
Rob Braxman is certainly old enough to remember the now outdated payphone, but as technology has advanced throughout the decades, Braxman has advanced right along with it. Braxman is a well-known expert in Internet privacy and data protection, whose insights on the rapidly changing technological landscape are second to none. He joins us on the Solution Series for an in-depth discussion about Internet privacy, personal tracking, and how to protect yourself. Especially if you have a mobile phone, you need to watch or listen to this episode.

How can I contact Rob Braxman? I bought a degoogled phone from him via brax.me, and now can find no way to contact him to RETURN it- seems pretty flawed to me. A techie friend even tried to fix it, but could not. No email address that works for him. I see he is on youtube . . . Thanks much, Ann Williams
I’ve followed Brax for over a year now, and he has quite a bit of deep knowledge, but unfortunately, one one-hour interview is hardly enough to get all of the details. Additionally, his vids may not be ideal for beginners, but I highly recommend trying to go through them on one of the platforms his channel is on.
On the other hand, someone who is a bit more accessible for newbies is Naomi Brockwell, and she can be found here: https://www.nbtv.media/episodes .
She also has her own channel on various video platforms. I’ve found watching her vids first and then getting more details from Brax has made things more comprehensible. (However, note that she supports and promotes cryptocurrencies.)
I bought a de-googled phone from Brax back during the midst of the scamdemic, and I still need to set it up. Someone local was able to switch the LineageOS he installed to another Android OS that is supposedly more secure and private, without losing too much functionality. (Functionality can be lost when additional security and privacy fetaures are included/activated.) I will try to update once I’ve activated it with a carrier.
Lastly, here is a book that has been floating around among those who have been seriously interested in privacy and security, in general. The book is quite comprehensive, and it includes, in detail, how to protect onself pm the internet, while using smartphones, etc: It was last updated in April 2022.

The author of the book also has other books and free podcasts on privacy, security, and “Open Source Intelligence.”
I hope this is useful.
I purchased a $600.00 de-googled Moto phone from Rob after the pandemic started. After taking it to 3 phone carriers recommended by Rob to try and activate it they all were unsuccessful. I tried to contact Rob though the site I purchased it from and was unsuccessful at getting any help at all! Now I lost $600.00 on a worthless phone! Buyer be warned!
Good to know. Will let Corey and James know.
Corey wants to ask Braxman to make right. However, that means I need to give her your name and email address so she can send to Braxman. OK?
Thank you Catherine and Corey! I sent my contact information to, Ask Catherine, to keep it more private.
Thanks, Richard Howard
Catherine, I will send you my email etc vis Ask Catherine also. I paid $420 for phone that is flawed . . . Thanks!
Me, too!! I posted above. Can’t find a way to contract Braxman to return the phone- it has a lot of problems . ..
Wow. This is a very good informational video. Thank you. Lots of work to do around this.

A few years ago, Verizon Mobile introduced a network-level tracking identifier (“supercookie”), which could not be blocked by any phone. It required opt-out via account settings, https://www.phonearena.com/news/verizon-is-automatically-tracking-subscribers_id136842
Fabulous! I love it. I joined Brax.me a year or so ago. My boys are saving for their own de-googled phones. They will only use for emergencies and calling their mom in case of emergency at basketball practice. They promised.; ) These days there isn’t a pay phone around so this Brax.me phone seems to be a safer alternative for communication when I drop them off for practice, if I can’t stay there for three hours sometimes. I loved the part where Rob says, “So, I built a phone.” James: “You built a phone?!?” lol Yes, Rob Braxman built a better phone, as one does…lol The best. Great information.
I love Rob! I have been following him for years! Thank you Corey & James. This is gonna be good! xo Jen
Yes, this will be excellent. Looking forward to it.
Yes, so looking forward to this!
