“Should President Obama have the power to shut down domestic Internet traffic during a state of emergency?
Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) think so. On Wednesday they introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor—an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians.”
Well said Rod Kestler.
It is of my opinion that “they” have already failed and they just don’t know it yet because they really do not understand the reality of the world. Even if I have to pass away I know that they will not succeed and it has made me sleep easier at night. I think Vandanna Shiva said it best, “My life does not matter. Life itself is what matters.”, and it seems that “they” have spent most of their time trying to destroy it.
Thank you for your soothing words Rod.
Absolutely not. No one should control the internet because it is the last (and possibly first) free medium of communication. It is easy to see and understand that “they” must clamp down on it. But it will not work, like everything else “they” try. The light will shine through. The transformation cannot be stopped because it is driven by forces beyond the scope of human thinking, and most espeically beyond the scope of masculine dominated thinking.
But I’ll take it a step further, into llgic-land. I don’t care what they try. I will NEVER SURRNEDER. I will never be beaten down, and I am willing to die for that conviction.
Long live Planet Earth and its peoples.
