Supporter asks Ron Paul about his stance on Global Warming:

Ron Paul, like they said above, does not make it a huge part of his campaign, although he has mentioned it in some questions he has been asked by people who would like to know his position on the issue. It has been a long time since I have seen it but I will try to find it and post it.

I think that fiat currency is a primary cause of environmental harm. Having a sound currency and financial system is step one to dealing with our environmental problems. Otherwise global warming will simply be used to justify more centralized control. I am deeply grateful to Congressman Paul for all of his efforts to deal with root problems,

It hasn’t been one of his platfoms. He wants to end the commitment to war in Iraq, end the Federal Reserve, cut back on large programs like social security by allowing young people to opt out. Dismantle the IRS, as well as income tax. He believes in information gathering, but wants to get rid of the cia and replace it. He feels they have abused their power. He belives in a gold backed currancy, and free trade, but not the trade agreements that are in place like nafta, which he believes only encourage corporate monoploies. I can’t speak for Ron Paul, global warming isn’t an issue that’s been highlighted in his campaign. I would encourage e-mailing his website. My own personal feeling is that there is more to climate change than man’s pollution. I think that we can definately do better. The thing is, every planet in the solar system including the sun has gone through the roof when it comes to warming and luminosity. Other’s are distrustful of a carbon tax being proposed . which doesn’t curtail pollution, and will make a few people incredibly rich. I’m guessing that Ron Paul would be against it.
Hello, just getting to know your informative site and noticed your support for Ron Paul. He seems like a fairly intelligent individual yet, I hear he doesn’t believe global warming is an issue?? What is your stance on this? Thanks for your time. Ev
