  1. John Perkins has said that he only talks about that which he has first hand knowledge of. This is so that he can back up his facts and make what he talks about bulletproof.

One of the other aspects is to transform the individual which will help trasnform the system. We can get of slave labor, buy locally grown food, and support sustainability despite the fact that we have a corrupt centralized system.

  2. Thanks Catherine,
I had read that piece when it was written but when I saw Perkins in Zeitgiest Addendum, I was suspicious of his being in the film. After viewing the film there was a huge debate on another forum about Zeitgeist Addendum’s agenda in furthering the NWO one world/one currency agenda (although they were purporting no currency)It was interesting to re-read that article again.

  3. “Wanting to reform the world without discovering one’s true self is like trying to cover the world with leather to avoid the pain of walking on stones and thorns. It is much simpler to wear shoes.”

“Seek not to cut the root of phenomena, but to cut the root of the mind. If you have to cross a field covered with thorns, and you try to cover the field with leather, you won’t succeed. It is far simpler to cover your feet with leather.”
    ~Sogyal Rinpoche, Tibetan Buddhist master

“Can we cover the earth in leather so it’s soft wherever we go? What else can we do? Covering our feet in leather is equal to covering the whole world in leather. Likewise, enemies are as limitless as space. All enemies cannot possibly be overcome, yet if one can just overcome hatred this will be equal to overcoming all enemies. All that is unsatisfactory in this world, all the fear and suffering that exists, clinging to the “I” has created it. What am I to do with this great demon? To release myself from harm and to free all others from their suffering let me give myself away and love others as I love myself. If a problem can be solved why be unhappy? And if it cannot be solved what is the use of being unhappy?”
    ~ Dzongsar Rinpoche

  5. What is the public supposed to do when media, government and non-governmental organizations control the publics collective reality?
