The US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, has just signed a decree granting vaccine makers total legal immunity from any lawsuits that result from any new “Swine Flu” vaccine. Moreover, the $7 billion US Government fast-track program to rush vaccines onto the market in time for the Autumn flu season is being done without even normal safety testing. Is there another agenda at work in the official WHO hysteria campaign to declare so-called H1N1 virus—which has yet to be rigorously scientifically isolated, characterized and photographed with an electron microscope—the scientifically accepted procedure—a global “pandemic” threat?
The current official panic campaign over alleged Swine Flu danger is rapidly taking on the dimensions of a George Orwell science fiction novel. The document signed by Sebelius grants immunity to those making a swine flu vaccine, under the provisions of a 2006 law for public health emergencies.

Given the perspective that you have identified, I am also left wondering where the gov’t claims they get the power to immune one private party (‘drug company’) against claims by another private party (‘medical patient’) who is damaged by utilizing the drug company’s products or services.
I realize DC does an enormous amount of song ‘n dance side shows around these issues, but when you remove the tap dancing shoes and get back to basics its pretty damn clear that no-one in DC is wearing any clothes. And according to our own Declaration of Independence, the responsibility falls on the people to step-up-to-the-plate and to set the elitists straight.
I believe the 2006 law cited was a provision of the Patriot Act, although I haven’t read it- so don’t quote me.
The context of that provision was ostensibly to enable mfgs to “ramp up” in a biowar scenario quickly- but curiously, the immunity was made retroactive. This gave away the real intent: to relieve Drug Companies (ie, Pfizer)of a looming threat- lawsuits related to thimerosal as a preservative, which looked like a prima facie cause in the spread of autism. Parents were becoming vocal about their afflicted children, and many doctors were refusing to be cowed by the FDA and the CDC. The companies using it were at best criminally negligent (at worst, homicidal.
This got some alternative press due to the first Pres. Bush being on the board of Pfizer at the time, with strong links to the Carlyle Group et al.
Seen from this viewpoint, this is simple cave-in to Big Pharmo, a repeat of past corrupt practices.
Before we get too judgmental, though, we have inquire as to the type of “hardball” these big guys play- maybe Ms Sebelius was shown a picture of David Kellermann and she took the hint…
no way!…where did the other 50 million come from? and are there a few of us that are NOT flies? 🙂

Don’t worry. Your corporate, super-rich, ultra-powerful international masters are more wise than Ghandi and more compassionate than Mother Theresa. Your basic needs will be taken care of by people smarter than you, from now on. Please just try to relax and surrender. I wonder where these jokers think they get the power to make these decrees. They seem to think they are gods these days. It’s beyond ridiculous. It just flabbergasts me that anyone takes this stuff seriously or listens to these psychopaths. I mean, what exactly is the “2006 law for public health emergencies” anyway… and how do they usurp Constitutional restrains on this kind of power. There is no legal basis for these actions… it’s just a pure psychological power play.
But perhaps what fascinates me more is the move toward global institutions located in foreign countries as the new decision makers. No one even discusses that the World Health Organization, a body under the United Nations, is attempting to make and enforce decisions that affect Americans. Here’s the clip from the article:
