It is called “crossover” when an artist or music genre appeals to different types of audiences. Adele—deservedly acclaimed as one of today’s great vocalists—is definitely a crossover artist.
Concerts of the multi-award-winning singer-songwriter sell out within mere minutes, and just the YouTube views of her songs alone go into the billions. Her music generates $1.5 million a day for the music industry. A 2017 concert at Wembley Stadium had almost 100,000 in attendance.
At age 21, Adele’s second album, titled 21, became an international sensation, and “Rolling in the Deep,” written by Adele and Paul Epworth, was its first single to be released (in 2010).
Here is the smashing hit in an impromptu live performance at a small Dutch radio station in November 2010, where Adele stopped by for an interview. Coat and gloves still on, this is what you get from a natural music superstar.
Note: Regrettably, Adele did not condemn the jab. We pray that she and her fans have not been harmed. This is why we watch her online instead.

that track is so killer. great to see the early Adele energy at work, live
She’s so powerful. Always loved this song. Also “Someone Like You” which is excellent but a real tearjerker.
thank you for life flowing through Adele, her hands, the musicians and onlookers – such a treat, so fresh, as life sings to us and our mirror neurons live it 🙂
Wow. Just Wow!
Beautiful start to the day.
Thanks.
