Our Music of the Week comes as special input from a Solari Report viewer. Patricia Morgan describes herself as a “retired church organist/music director, activist, a critical thinker, and a Master Gardener with a small organic urban farm.” She is also a big fan of the Financial Rebellion series on CHD-TV with Catherine, Carolyn, and Polly.
Pat began writing the poem several years ago, but the many discussions she was able to follow on Financial Rebellion and in the “Backcasting” exercise by the Solari team at the beginning of 2023 helped her to reimagine and frame her vision in a more positive way. She dedicates the rewritten lyrics in tribute to the three gorgeous Financial Rebellion ladies. The new title is “Pray Big. Resist. Stand Firm.”
This poem is a song! You are invited to sing along with this piano cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”
Hallelujah!
“Pray Big. Resist. Stand Firm”

Dedicated to Polly Tommey, Catherine Austin Fitts, Carolyn Betts, and the teams at CHD and Solari
Behold God’s human tapestry—
Resplendent in diversity
Of races, genders, creeds, abilities.
Inextricably designed,
Threaded treasures intertwined,
A woven web exceedingly Divine.
We’re connected. Sewn together. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Resplendent in diversity
Of races, genders, creeds, abilities.
Inextricably designed,
Threaded treasures intertwined,
A woven web exceedingly Divine.
We’re connected. Sewn together. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Now gaze upon our Mother Earth,
Our common home. She brings to birth
The soil, seeds, and beauty that sustain us.
Cherish her diversity,
Keep her unscathed and poison free,
Her biosphere is kin to you and me.
We’ll protect her. She’s our lifeblood. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
“Backcasting” how a Common-Wealth—
Reclaims wise, ancient routes to health,
Nutritious food, warm homes, clean energy.
And harbor for the refugees,
Creative work, equality,
Uncensored speech, awake to tyranny.
What a vision! Just imagine! Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Outlasting lawless quarantines:
(Alone, divided, fear’s the scheme,)
Envision paths to thrive and persevere.
Share resources. Soothe the ill.
Start a garden. Learn a skill.
“Pray big, resist, stand firm” in hope. Love conquers.
We’re resilient. We won’t settle. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
Still wonder when humanity
Will lose its taste for bigotry
And shed its greed for money, war and power?
Pray soon one day that love will sway
All hearts to seek a higher way
And cast off the addictions of this hour.
That’s real power. Wield real power. Hallelujah, hallelujah!
This poem, set to Leonard M. Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” was originally begun in 2017 after Trump was inaugurated. It’s been edited multiple times throughout the Covid-19 Plandemic.

Is the pianist playing this to the lyric written above? I ask because the energy of the music is not reflective of beauty and love. It feels dark as if reflecting the lyrics written above. If this was the intent, it is spot on. The same piece of music can sound totally different based on the energy resonating from the musician.
Catherine, thank you so much for the beautiful piano music. It really touched my heart!!!
Thank you. This gave me goosebumps.
Thanks for sharing your creativity! Music, poetry lyrics and creative arts have the power to lift us up!
On another note and a general comment on words and lyrics to popular songs. If you go to the original Hallelujah lyrics and really read them…wow! I was in for a big surprise. Just because there were Biblical references, that is certainly not a hymn!
Hope all reading this have a beautiful and productive day!
Thank you Patricia – Your Lyric gives this timeless song a Sweet, thoughtful & uplifting FEELING Thank You.
