The veiled women are incredible. When I took Art History it was so much fun to study drapery. Another interesting fact about Roman and Greek sculpture is the Italians had to use a stump-like device to support their figures whereas the Greeks were masters of the standing figures. The balance was incredible and the Greeks needed no devices to support their standing figures. I love that they were so accomplished.
