That Mike Pence comment took my breath away. Wow. And that was my next thought too – another swamp creature from the establishment shows it’s true face.
So you wake up on a Saturday morning to this:
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2023/07/its_murder_remdesivir_victims_decry_fdas_shocking_new_move.html
Remdesivir may be the most despised drug in American history, earning the nickname Run Death Is Near for its lethal record during COVID. Experts claimed that it would stop COVID; instead, it stopped kidney function, then blasted the liver and other organs. Now this reviled destroyer of kidneys has been approved by the FDA for COVID treatment of kidney patients. Does anybody else feel as if the FDA is shoving its power in our faces and laughing at us?
Cheri Martin, who lost her husband Steven to the protocol, chimed in with thoughts on the agenda: “They’re going to use this decision as a way to clean house of renal patients and people on dialysis. It’s saving a ton of money for Medicare over the next twenty years.”
Sigh.
I have a friend working as a bookkeeper for small businesses in New York. She says the amount of data that NY State is attempting to collect is insane. They want to know what books are on the shelves of the small business owner, and what they are purchasing, etc.
Good heavens. Good to know. Thank you.
are we sure about those FHLB amounts for Comerica and Zion? Definitely not the capacity that they borrow that’s being quoted here?
ok ignore me. THeir capacity has increased to 17B but they have 3B left!

Regarding Kennedy’s story about millions of military trained men crossing the southern bornder into the US and then being given airline tickets to any city of their choice, what happens after that? They are supposedly penniless and how do they survive in the city they’ve gone to. Are they incorporated into some sort of local cadre of foreign fighters who support them? Also with members of the American military probably dying of the Covid jab in increasing numbers, then is the elitists plan to use these “mercenaries” to enforce their control over the population?
My understanding is that the ones that come through in this channel have employees who are sponsors. So presumably, they have immediate employment in hte cities they fly to.
Catherine, I think you were referring about astronaut Kathy Sullivan not Kelly at your ASK CATHERINE discussion.
50:10 – The claim that Carlsberg is a French (or German) company is not correct. Carlsberg is a Danish brewery founded in 1847 and ranks among the 3 biggest in the world.
Aside form that, thank you for another wonderful show.
Wow it sounds like Elon Musk is jumping into the CBDC business somehow when he talks about X becoming 1/2 of the world’s financial system:
https://www.disclose.tv/id/6jv45q5zhv/
What else could he possibly mean?. Let’s not even talk about the brain implants.
Mike Pence was being quite forthright about what his focus should be as President if the USA. The federal government should be focused on international relations and get out of the business of finding individual states. San Juan, Puerto Rico is one of the few cities that should be the concern of the federal government t because it lies in federal territory. Detroit is Michigan’s problem. Atlanta is Georgia’s problem.
Marilyn:
That would be true if our activities in the Ukraine related to legitimate national security issues and the investment was appropriate to the task.
That does not appear to be the case.
Plus many of the problems have been caused by federal government decisions or at a federal level, including QE and the open border. Bit harsh to create a problem then tell the states they all have to clean up the mess and absorb the costs.
Dear Catherine
Time 1.24.00: I’m definitely looking forward to the timeline you and Carolyn will put together on from when the Fed went into the BIS in 1994 to when the missing money stared in 97. In order to fully understand where we are now it helps to know how we got here.
Also, anything Carolyn does is great and a pleasure to read. She writes so well.
On the list but numerous items ahead for now.
AI does not exhibit common sense, (most) people do! Pence seemed to respond like a bad AI programmed cyborg. Love the Sagan piece! Both Sagan and Orwell had great insight to the pitfalls of Science gone awry.
At the end Miss Catherine I think you nailed it. Enjoy your summer, this fall is going to be wild or worse. John did not see how the dollar could lose reserve status quickly? That to me is easy. It is only supported by Confidence……period. If there are xxxxx many bonds that are made up out of thin air, you just have to expose that and poof, all head to the exit door. More and more it seems mr global and the fed want to crash it all to put us all in the cattle pen. Keep shining your light Miss Catherine. The Dark of Human Winter is coming.
I agree with John. Too many people owe money in dollars – too much debt and no place to go. I don’t see the dollar being anything other than dangerous and dominant except in the scenarios where they people who control it decide to take it down.
Yes Miss Catherine, they could crash it on purpose, for the cattle pen. I can not rule that out either. They want a global system by 2030.
re US Army Reserves: CAF you are spot on about needing to know the MOS (military occupational specialty) of the reservists being called up in order to understand why they are being called up. The reserves and national guard get a bad wrap, but they are filled with lots of specialty professionals, and lots of people who juggle two careers (military and civilian) and can think outside the box, solving problems quicker than active duty counterparts (speaking from experience). I deployed with two guys who were called out of retirement, a logistics professional and an engineering professional, both true experts in their fields, and it was quickly evident why they were called upon given our mission. Thanks to you and John for another great M&M!
Thank you. Yes, a lot of deep talent in the reserves.
How do we find out what their MOS’s are? Hmm. My late husband, a Colonel ( Vietnam era) in the Army Medical Service Corps, was active reserve & was called to Active Duty for Desert Shield/Desert Storm with a 3 day notice left on home message machine. It was terrible experience on many levels; he managed with great difficulty to be transferred into Inactive Reserves after a 91/2 months on Active Duty. His MOS was Internal Medicine ; was also Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases. The young Captain who facilitated his transfer had blowback for assisting him ( was all above board). Army wanted him in Active Reserves. He loved his country and the military. They don’t make them like him anymore.
Carl Sagan died in December 1996 of a rare disease, same year that he gave that interview. An interesting year indeed!
Yes, Catherine, vending machines at community colleges are cash cows for them. After 35 years as a Chemical Engineer in industry, I got tired of the rat race and taught for 4 years at a community college / vo-tech, teaching Industrial Operations, Maintenance, and Automation. The local high schools would send 11th and 12th grade students to there to learn Automotive Maintenance, Welding, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Cosmetology, and my industrial program, where they got college credit. We had students from the city high school for a 2 hour morning class and students from 4 county high schools for a 2 hour afternoon class. Midway through each class, we had a 15 minute break, and students would line up at the 6 vending machines in the common area for snacks and drinks because they did not have them at their high schools. I had to monitor them 1 day a week. I saw some students spend $5 per day there. I complained to the higher ups in committee meetings about what message were we sending our children about nutrition by having these there. It fell on deaf ears. When the school built a new building a block away for my program and welding, I was able to forestall the installation of vending machines for 6 months. But, magically, after the start of one Spring semester, 4 were installed in my new building. I delved into this further, going to the comptroller of the college, and found out that on my campus alone, their kickbacks from the vending machines amounted to $1000 / month considering we had 200 high school students enrolled for morning, 200 h.s. students enrolled for afternoon, and 100 adults for evening classes. With that much income being generated for a small college of 3000 students, including the academic campus, that was too much income to turn down.
You assume his performance was for us! Mike Pence was not talking to the American people. He was talking deliberately over us, and to the Globalist!
indeed, his body language said so
Movie of the Week: Dead Reckoning Part One … correction … Tom Cruise turned 61 years old on July 3rd and is not 63 years old.
I was disappointed by the movie. For a three hour movie only the last 30 minutes on the train was sufficiently engaging. The first half of the movie is basically way too much dialog, ” … be afraid of the AI. the entity, everyone else wants to control the AI, only Ethan Hunt (Cruise) wants to kill it.” Too abstract not enough of an emotional connection. The HERO of any movie is only as good as the VILLIAN, and this villain was a big yawn for me.
I teach computer science, the only reason to be afraid of AI is the PEOPLE who are using AI … not the AI itself. None of the dialog, gave any sense of who was behind the AI.
The other major errors in the plot were the demise of Ilsa Faust (played by Rebecca Ferguson). The car chase scene through the streets of Rome, was based on two women drivers … this seemed to be a desperate attempt to get women to be interested in car chases … it did not work. Like all car chases, I just wanted it to end, resigned to the idea that this part of the movie mainly appeals to men. Same experience of no emotional engagement, at any level … not even when Ethan Hunt responds to the demise of Faust.
I became a fan of Tom Cruise (and Chris McQuarrie) for the first time last year, with Top Gun Maverick. I saw the film 25 times … in theatres. I bought a 4K HD screen just to watch the HD DVD even more times. I admit, I was desperate for big screen movies … having been locked out for two years by COVID19 restrictions. I made a point of watching the entire canon of Cruise’s work just to figure out why Top Gun Maverick was such a draw for me. In the end, I decided that it was the dialog of McQuarrie, the directing of Kosinski and the editing of the movie … Cruise simply allowed himself be emotionally engaging, for a change … no doubt because he has been signing the paraphernalia of Top Gun fans for 36 years. Also, the plot line of Maverick is a thinly veiled version of the 1986 movie.
And so I conclude, emotional engagement with anything Cruise does is going to be a hit or miss affair. If the combined budget is in fact $491 million, i doubt very much that it will make a profit this year. The movie simply does not have the same level of engagement that Top Gun Maverick had. I will not be watching this film a second time, and will probably have to force myself to watch Part Two next year, if only to see how badly Hollywood ef’d up their understanding of AI.
Listening to this again, another thought crossed my mind. The illegals crossing the border are taken to the airport and given a ticket to anywhere in the U.S. Are these on commercial flights? If so, how does Homeland Security allow them to board? It’s been 5 years since I’ve flown anywhere, but at that time I had to show my driver’s license or passport to be able to board the plane. I don’t think that those regulations have changed. I doubt seriously that these illegals have a passport, much less a U.S. driver’s license or state I.D., so that means Homeland Security is complicit with this.
But then, isn’t the Border Patrol now part of Homeland Security? Or are they still part of the Department of Commerce / Customs?
I read elsewhere (wish I kept the link) that they can use the paperwork they’re given by CBP as ID or to get ID.
The clip of the Pence interview with Carlson was interesting. I think Pence’s comment relates to the traditional Republican party line of the Federal level not infiltrating the State level. He, as President, would focus on the international arena and let the State Governor’s focus on their individual cities’ problems. He did a pretty good job in Indiana as Gov and knows what State governance is all about. He could have done a better job of explaining his position for sure but like me he might not be much of a Carlson fan!
John is right about cannabis being part of the planned poisoning. Part of the feminizing/transgenderism of males.
Antiandrogen
Antiandrogens, also known as androgen antagonists or testosterone blockers, are a class of drugs that prevent androgens like testosterone and dihydrotestosterone from mediating their biological effects in the body. They act by blocking the androgen receptor and/or inhibiting or suppressing androgen production.Wikipedia
Marihuana inhibits dihydrotestosterone binding to the androgen receptorV Purohit, B S Ahluwahlia, R A Vigersky
AbstractMarihuana and its constitutents delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta 9-THC) and cannabinol (CBN) were tested for their ability to interact with the androgen receptor in rat prostate cytosol. Smoked marihuana condensate, delta 9-THC, and CBN inhibit specific binding of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) to the androgen receptor with a dissociatin constant of the inhibitors (Li) of 2.1-5.8 X 10(-7)M. in addition, other metabolites of delta 9-THC were also androgen antagonists. This data suggests that the anti-androgenic effects associated with marihuana use results, at least in part, from inhibition of androgen action at the receptor level.

creepy bastards
I couldn’t watch the whole thing.
Interesting that Carolyn says “the boot came down in 1994-96”. I look at 1995 as when the Digital Age really took off. That’s when DVDs really started replacing VHS analog tapes for movies to own at home, although it took 10 years to complete the transition. That’s when CDs really took off replacing vinyl record albums for music. And that’s when the Internet really took off, when cable TV companies and some landline phone companies started offering Internet service to homes. That’s when mobile phones switched from the analog bag phones to the digital cell phones that did not require the cumbersome bags for power and transmitting. Yes, there was some digital services prior to that in movies, music, home internet, and cell phones, but I look at 1995 as the demarcation line when things really took off digitally. That’s also when Microsoft went from Windows 4.0 operating system to Windows 95.
Ted, I agree. I was an undergrad in college from 93-96, Everyone in my dorm used word processor type writers, A-drives, floppy disks and VHS tapes. In college we were all so broke we couldn’t afford the CD’s,we still made mixed tapes with cassettes and the radio. There was a computer lab that held 25 seats and we all had to take MS-DOS. Then we were all forced to “upgrade” to Win95. Our DOS now Windows teacher said, “This might be the end of the world, OR we will be just fine because the people in charge with the money that run the world have GOOD intentions” (as he rolled his eyes). I remembered that comment because it sent a chill up my spine. I had no idea what he was talking about, but it sounded creepy.
I went home and told my Dad about it and he said, he thinks the rich guys don’t give a darn about Joe Public and if we are not careful they will have us all on IBM ledgers working for money that can only be spent at “The Company Store” like his family used in the early 1900’s”. Non-transferable credit vouchers causing debt-bondage…hmmm sounds familiar. My Dad passed in 2015, he tried to teach us to be as resourceful as possible, not to rely on the State for anything. No wonder they want to kill the elders first, they know what is going on for sure!
Your dear Dad sounds wonderful, Jennifer.
Rex Sinquefield came up with the idea for index funds and is deep into Missouri politics. Patrick Ishmael an attorney with Rex’s non lobbying, nonprofit, Show Me Institute, spoke briefly at a small gathering of doctors about how and why to file Sunshine requests with local government entities. After the meeting I tried to engage him in a conversation about how to put the federal government back in it’s proper place, did he back a state bullion bank, or a state bank. He stuttered around quite a bit and made a few odd comments about gold and silver not being good currency. For example, if gold isn’t taxed neither should aluminum be taxed as it could be used in coins. What?!
Most interesting, however, was his statement that crypto is the “safest currency.” He said it doesn’t matter that it’s electronic because an identifying number can be attached to it, therefore it can’t disappear. He doesn’t back CBDC because of surveillance concerns but crypto is the best. I’m not in healthcare and he wasn’t expecting the question so he slid around. That’s all I could get from him.
Some interesting thoughts from this gentleman about President Biden’s ready reserve orders for Operation Atlantic Resolve.
He mentions pilots several times, both Air Force pilots and Army Helicopter pilots as examples. Makes me think about the importance of air defense for ground forces and logistical support for the promised F-16s, or F-35s.

As Catherine points out, Sturgeon is one of those characters (such as Walensky, Fauci, Ardern, Johnson, et al) who had utterly exhausted their political capital during Covid, and needed to be replaced before the next psy-op.
Sturgeon facilitated a similar genocide to Matt Hancock and Chris Whitty in England, and Andrew Cuomo in New York. Midazolam administered to euthanize the elderly in the care homes, under the cover of “mistakes were made”.
I wonder if the timing is at least in part to take the heat off Sturgeon’s utterly clueless replacement, Humza Yousaf, who recently revealed himself to be an out-and-out racist.
Indeed. I phrased it poorly, meaning it is astonishing that there may be a crack in the “mistakes were made” facade. Sturgeon vulnerable on a few fronts, and facing allegations of financial shenanigans, but if this line of attack sticks , it exposes a flank for many European, North American and Australasian technocrats and politicians of the last 3 years.
Agreed. I can’t believe it’s even being reported on. Although, like you, I’d be amazed if it actually ended up in criminal prosecutions.
I get the feeling Sturgeon thought she was a genuine insider until recently.
My own experience of the UK’s NHS is horrendous. It appears to be a gigantic money laundering operation, costing British taxpayers ~£3,000,000,000 per week, provides generally atrocious healthcare, and has been euthanizing vulnerable patients with Midazolam for years. At the same time as being hailed by the British media as a paragon of virtue, beyond reproach, etc. Yuck.
Question for John Titus. John said that only the FED can increase the amount of dollars in circulation. So I had this thought. Say an Argentinian bank loans someone a million pesos to buy a house and demands that he pays back 4000 US dollars. The bank can then trade the $4000 debt with other banks. What do you think of this method to increase the amount of dollars in circulation?
I was under the impression that US-based commercial banks create the vast majority of USD in circulation (some 97%). The Fed issuing its paper notes makes up the balance (i.e., ~3%).
I thought John said that The Fed was “one of the influences” on the amount of USD in circulation. What he was adamant about was that other countries’ central and commercial banks have zero ability to add to the global supply of USD.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
Look into EuroDollars
what John said was that the central bank of each country is responsible for the supply of its currency, and no other bank can create/issue that currency. when an international counterpart trades in USD, there is a middleman bank which converts that international currency into USD, but the USD is not created, just diverted from the current supply.

Sorry, I believe this is an old news rehash. I could not find it any where in a search. Next time, I will make a search before posting.
Catherine & John, not sure you will cover the surprising news from candidate Kennedy Jr. that he will back the US Dollar with Bitcoin currency.
First he said he was not an investor in bitcoin, now there are news he actually owns bitcoin. It turns out now that “backing the US dollar is necessary by an asset not back by anything physical and being purely DIGITAL” Impressive. In your view, doesn’t bitcoin helps in the construction of a digital grid or concentration camp? I am sure that the EU will be happy to bac Kennedy. I still can’t believe it — but here we are.
After hearing from you and Solari about buying “Gold, Silver and physical assets” and using our cash to protect our wealth, how is Bitcoin playing in your foresight of the economic future and opportunities for the general public? Do you still support Kennedy Jr. as a candidate based on his announcement?
I am beginning to believe that 90%+ of all news are purely speculation, while they charge incredible fees to give partial and bias information. Then, WEALTH is made from others lack of education. Hope people realize it soon.
We are living unique times, indeed!
What Kennedy is suggesting does not make sense. Not sure I understand it or why he is proposing it. In the process of trying to find out what he is specifically proposing before I comment.
Or it could be possibly – smoke and mirrors for votes.
He also stated that Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk should be beacons of hope in the freedom community for their commitment to free speech, demonstrated by their personal sacrifices and no one should believe otherwise (paraphrased) … I mean where does one even begin on this! All the evidence points to the contrary! There are many unanswered questions about RFK jr and some major alarm bells imo.

“For $8 trillion dollars we wrecked the world.” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. recent 2 hour plus interview with Lex Friedman. I understand Solari is neutral on political campaigns and if this isn’t policy please delete my post. However, my purpose in posting this is the amazing amount of hidden history Bobby covers in this interview which should be required listening from George Washington to WW2, the Cuban Missile Crisis, formation of the CIA, Russia, Ukraine, all wars to today. I was 13 when I watched his father get murdered live on TV. Being an enthusiastic supporter our hearts and spirits were broken. No matter your politics, it’s almost a miracle to hear an erudite and scholarly lawyer and diplomat dedicated to fighting for our children and peace after 55 years discuss our amazing and forgotten history and solutions to our current precarious state. Catherine, when you and John said: “all these people at the top are fighting with each other” that includes ALL. No one millionaire will want to be in control by a CDBC more than others in that ‘small club’ with the means to have more businesses and property and travel. So ALL of them are fighting while the “people at the bottom” keep suffering. The powerful controlling others with bitcoin, offerings, propaganda, things, opportunities, etc.
So, knowledge is power. Education brings prosperity. Reason why academia have been in control by a few.
Thanks for the knowledge you have provided all these years via Solari. But I feel it is time for people to take action in their own circles and the more you can discuss about these issues with the public free-dly the better.
Agreed. I spend app 15 hours a week doing public shows and speeches on these topics. And more helping public officials. How much time do you spend. The solution is not for me to do more, but for all of us to do what we can do.
I personally discuss a lot within my technical circles which have been blind-sided with false narratives for decades. Slowly they are awakening to ask questions. I also have withdraw personal invitations to speak at various events and high attended conferences, just because I do not want to continue to support games. And this goes against any material gains which are inconsequential for me at this point of my life and time in history. I am continuously searching for truth and real value.
Excellent response Ms. Catherine. I am personally tired of a lot of complaints but nothing being done. In my personal life, I have about two lawsuits I am going to have to put together. One of them with the hired assistance of Marie McDonell, thank you for bringing awareness of her existence into my life. Then there is a pending investigation against the realtor I used. I spend a couple of hours a week with a Vietnam vet, just sharing my company with him. He gave me a pamphlet to do more, but those organizations always have a lot of red tape, I just want to show up, volunteer and be done, with my schedule as a dad, father and doing programming for the bad guys, I really do not have much time for red tape. I have been wanting to attend meetings of Texans for Vaccine Choice but they always manage to hold rallies and meetings somewhere that is 6+ hours away from me…not sure how they manage that being that I am only two hours from a major city, but they like to hold events in the most remote parts of Texas, but thats a good thing in that they are trying to reach every nook and cranny of the state and it appears they have been successful. Technically I am on the Kennedy campaign, but I think I am the only volunteer in my area, I live in right-wing redneck country bumpkin East Texas where 99% of people are going to vote for Trump again so that does not surprise me. I tried in-person Solari circle three years ago, not doing that again…simply because no one will show up. Anyway, I am trying my best to contribute, but sometimes I feel like I don’t do enough, one of the things I would really like to do is turn my red button, green through my online courses, but I do realize I am a nobody so on YouTube I offer a ton of knowledge base on my programming skills that I just give away for free with the idea being that at some point someone will find value enough to pay me for my services and then I don’t have to keep programming for the bad guys at the DOD…anyway thanks for all you do.
🙂
Catherine, you once said : “DO NOT TRUST MILLIONAIRES”. Is this still truth?
A millionaire is described as somebody with a net worth of one million dollars. It’s a simple math formula based on your net worth. When what you own (your assets) minus what you owe (your liabilities) equals more than a million dollars, you’re a millionaire.
There are about 62.5 million millionaires globally, a 11.4% increase from 2020.
Most importantly >>>> Millionaires comprise JUST about 8.8% of the American population.
Time to wake-up America!
I don’t remember saying that. If I did there was a context. I know lots of great millionaires who are quite trustworthy and earned their money honestly.
I remember you saying don’t trust a millionaire in a general context. And I can understand generalization is not applicable in many cases.
Making millions from inheritances is a story, but building and preserving wealth entails a comprehensive understanding and utilization of legal frameworks, including regulations, and knowing how to use it to personal advantage. This in most cases generates a direct or indirect use of others for gains. Wealth is difficult to create without the aid and support from others.
While I don’t know his actual income, I am assuming he is a millionaire, I am referring to Jim Rogers, I personally like him and think he is trustworthy. I do believe Dr. Gary Null has at least a million dollar income and while I do not agree with everything either of these men say I think Gary is trustworthy as well. So yeah, plenty of trustworthy millionaires out there.
Well Catherine, I think this summarizes our situation very simply – and how our SYSTEM has worked called “The Science of Systems”, fascinating. Listen to Dr.SHIVA: The Swarm – HOW the Few Control the Many. What WE Do to Break Free. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_3Nf6xjeFs
Please, pass it on.
I don’t post Dr. Shiva. Too many integrity issues in the past.
There is a say ‘behind lies there is a truth waiting to be discovered.’ Sometimes you have said that they (globalists, mr. global, etc) will tell us what they are going to do. So, it could be that part of Dr. Shiva’ talks and discussions about the ‘system of science’ is a reality.
What I do know of Dr. Shiva is that she has Bill Gates’ number and he is scared of her, or at least it seems that way to me. She is also knowledgeable about agriculture. I enjoy listening to her speak and I never fail to learn something from her. I am disappointed that there is a concern with her integrity here.
I thought you meant this Dr. Shiva https://vashiva.com
Big fan of Dr Vandana Shiva https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vandana_Shiva
Sounds like you are talking about a different Dr. Shiva. See the links.
LOL, I think by butting into the conversation I confused things. I assumed you guys were talking about Dr. Vandana Shiva…well, anyway, its a relief that we are both big fans of Dr. Vandana Shiva. I really see Dr. Vandana Shiva as the Indian version of you. Anyway, sorry for confusing the convo.
Ms. Catherine, I am not sure how to ask this question without putting us in a position of engaging in gossip, but what kind of integrity issues? Thanks in advance.

This author is new to me, posting in case to you too.
Interesting perspectives including on NATO, as a captive buyers club for US armaments.

Solari is well aware of Dmitry Orlov. I look forward to reading it. Thank you.
This is rich…
• “The deepening strategic partnership between the PRC and Russia and their mutually reinforcing attempts to undercut the rules-based international order run counter to our values and interests.” But the deepening strategic partnership is entirely congruent with both Russia’s and China’s values and interests and they aren’t about to ask anyone for permission. Yammering on about the “rules-based international order,” even though it no longer exists, is a bit pathetic, but what else is there left for them to do? Boo-hoo!
FEAR AND LOATHING ON AIR FORCE ONE
Biden’s anxieties over the Ukraine War and the election in 2024 come into view

Seymour Hersh
Jul 13, 2023
exerpt:
I have been told a different, secret story about Erdogan’s turnabout: Biden promised that a much-needed $11-13 billion line of credit would be extended to Turkey by the International Monetary Fund. “Biden had to have a victory and Turkey is in acute financial stress,” an official with direct knowledge of the transaction told me. Turkey lost 100,000 people in the earthquake last February, and has four million buildings to rebuild. “What could be better than Erdogan”—under Biden’s tutelage, the official asked, “finally having seen the light and realizing he is better off with NATO and Western Europe?” Reporters were told, according to the New York Times, that Biden called Erdogan while flying to Europe on Sunday. Biden’s coup, the Times reported, would enable him to say that Putin got “exactly what he did not want: an expanded, more direct NATO alliance.” There was no mention of bribery.
A June analysis by Brad W. Setser of the Council on Foreign Relations, “Turkey’s Increasing Balance Sheet Risks,” said it all in the first two sentences—Erdogan won re-election and “now has to find a way to avoid what appears to be an imminent financial crisis.” The critical fact, Setser writes, is that Turkey “is on the edge of truly running out of usable foreign exchange reserves—and facing a choice between selling its gold, an avoidable default, or swallowing the bitter pill of a complete policy reversal and possibly an IMF program.”

‘Reduce Population’: Kamala Harris Verbal Slip-Up Corrected By White House
by Tyler Durden
Saturday, Jul 15, 2023 – 08:55 PM
KAMALA HARRIS: “When we invest in clean energy and electric vehicles and reduce population, more of our children can breath clean air and drink clean water.”
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/reduce-population-kamala-harriss-verbal-slip-sparks-outrage
I saw this. At this point, don’t know if it was deliberate or not. Harris is incredibly inarticulate, so may well have been a genuine (if Freudian) slip up.
However, she has an appalling record as San Francisco’s DA, and later AG for California, in which she broke the law, supported for-profit prisons, jailed ~1,900 poor people for minor crimes, such as their children cutting class, or possession of small amounts of marijuana (a drug which she openly admits she’s used, and laughed about it when asked). In another case, she withheld exculpatory DNA evidence for a defendant facing the death penalty (Kevin Cooper).
We’re also talking about someone who said she believed women who came forward to say Joe Biden had sexually assaulted them, and criticized Biden for supporting racial segregation of public schools as recently as the 1970s. BEFORE very quickly accepting his belated offer to be his Veep.
The psychopaths’ mask is slipping. At this point, they’re simply so brazen about their disdain for us, it would not surprise me if she were told to say exactly what she did, with the later official correction being pre-planned.
The War On Cash Centers On “Controlling The Individual”
by Tyler Durden
Sunday, Jul 16, 2023 – 06:10 AM
It is also related to another AdvancingTime post that centers on the growing dependence of society on technology. High-tech societies are particularly vulnerable to collapse due to their population being dependent on both the system and others to provide the basic items they need to survive in everyday life. Basic survival skills are important and being prepared is linked to thinking about what is often considered the unthinkable. Today many members of society lack those skills.

Wind Industry Demands Financial Bail Out; Climate Group Says “The wind experiment has failed and must be wound down” (UK)
TOPICS:BN FrankClimate ChangeEnergyUKWind
July 6, 2023
By B.N. Frank
Dr. John Constable, Net Zero Watch’s Energy Director, said: “It would be both absurd and counterproductive for Government to bail out the wind industry in spite of the evident failure to reduce costs. A refusal to learn from mistakes will be disastrous.”
In a press release, the organisation argued the Government should “reject the self-serving demands” because the U.K. economy should not be expected to continue to subsidise a sector “that is still uneconomic after nearly 20 years of above-market prices and guaranteed market share”.
“The wind experiment has failed and must be wound down,” it adds.
