Naomi and Mitt:
Thank you so much for posting.
I spent my Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2010 with my dear friend Georgie. She died on December 26th at 2:22 am after we shared several days in a hospice in Philadelphia. To this day, I give thanks for that hospice and the extraordinary nurses who cared for her.
Sending prayers and blessings for your brother/brother in law and for you and your family.
Catherine
Thank you Catherine for reminding us of those distant chords of memory that each of us have of this holiday. Not all of them are perfect or as idealic as presented in the photo montage, but Thanksgiving is in the heart and spirit first and foremost.
We have a brother/brother in law who is in hospice dying of Pancreatic cancer. Today is filled with sweetness and sorrow in memory. One of the lines in Karen’s song…..grateful for each hand we hold….oh so true.
Thank you,
Naomi and Milt
