  1. This is just part of the Pincers Strategy that was perfected in Communist Soviet Union, which acts like a vice on society. First, the right-wing squeezes society from the top, then the left-wing squeezes from the bottom. Unfortunately, both sides of the vice are controlled by the same “interests”.

    I love the part of the article that says “There’s just not enough revenue that can be drawn from the wealthy without crippling the economy, so in time, middle incomers will feel a bigger bite, too.”, that is bullshit. Stop letting all these huge companies and extremely wealthy people get away with huge tax breaks so that everyone else doesn’t have to carry their weight.

    Also at the rate of unemployment does it matter? Most people cannot pay taxes if they are not working. I hope they keep applying the pressure. The more pain we feel the sooner we will move to change all this bureaucratic nonsense.
