  1. Rock Steady was the Aretha Franklin song that all the kids in uptown Manhattan back in the 80s would stop what they were doing, pull out the linoleum and start breakdancing too, so yeah its my personal favorite of hers.

It could be the year 2030 and young people of that generation will still start dancing to Rock Steady, I guess thats how the Rock Steady Crew got its name.

I also loved her in the Blues Brothers movie. And for the record I grew up listening to anything from the 70s from James Brown to the Jimmy Castor Bunch

  2. Hey, I loved the trailer of Respect. I have more Aretha Franklin LPs than anybody. She was an outstanding talent and never lost her respect for herself. She continued to excel her whole life.
I am looking forward to seeing this movie and singing along the entire time. Sorry other people in the theater.
    Now what about it people?

  3. I watched “The Dead Poets Society” after you mentioned it. Great Movie! Along the line of teaching, I recommend the dead football coach society. Tony Mason is dead. He never got the chance to be great, because he spoke his mind. The video listed below is not as much about football as it is about teaching, motivation, leadership, and if nothing else, entertainment. It may give you a different prospective about sports.
