(Version of 2017 with subtitles in several languages)
In preparation for the Solari interview with Dr. Beverly Rubik on her recent and crucial peer-reviewed paper that gives the “Evidence for a connection between coronavirus disease-19 and exposure to radiofrequency radiation from wireless communications including 5G,” we recommend that you take the time to view the award-winning documentary Take Back Your Power by Josh del Sol (first version published in 2013, updated cut in 2017).
The film shows how, with the installation of smart utility meters in their houses, people started to experience unexplained sickness and health impacts. There is a very apparent correlation between wireless transmitters and biophysical stresses.
The documentary also shows that apart from posing serious health risks, smart meters are veritable in-home surveillance devices and extortion traps that are a functional part of the “control grid” to which we are gradually being accustomed. Even though this is one of the earlier films about wireless radiation, smart meters, and the Internet of Things, it provides revealing and still timely insights into the powers and intentions behind the scheme.
The film, produced with a small budget of $200,000 USD raised from crowdfunding and private sources, won several awards as “Best Documentary” at international film festivals.
Josh del Sol leads the InPower Movement and Take Back Your Power action community, which is working on many fronts to raise awareness about 5G and wireless radiation and to find safe technologies for the modern world. Their website is also a wonderful source of knowledge and material on how to protect yourself from radiation and actions you can take.

Thank you for posting this valuable gem. A superb production by Josh Del Sol. InPower Movement is an excellent resource as well!
Very disturbing and yet very enlightening. Glad to know about this.
I opted out of the smart meter last year in Nova Scotia Canada. They said that we would have to pay an additional fee to have our meter manually read and that the fee would be reflected on our bill. I have yet to see the fee but I am sure it will appear at some point. Found the documentary to be very informative yet upsetting at the same time. Thank you
Wow this was eye opening! Just last week a young man from San Isabel Electric Co. knocked on my door and said I’m changing out your smart meter. I asked why? He said the others were old and needed upgrading. I told him I’d rather not have a smart meter. He said he couldn’t do anything about that and I needed to call the Company.
They are likely to have an opt out program. Worth doing even if it costs more money.
At this point only a handful of states allow opt outs. NC is not showing up on any list, although Duke Energy was pushed into allowing a medical opt-out several years ago, it looks like new legislation may require all NC residents to have smart meters. This is a shifting landscape as the utilities try to wipe out all decision rights, even municipalities are mobilizing to disallow smart meters. I installed a top of line faraday cage on my meter.

Building local opportunities is a real opportunity – one of the reasons they are changing laws to make it difficult to do so.
That’s right! I think this is one reason municipalities are having luck outlawing smart meters in their jurisdictions.
They can use charters, etc. to assert their sovereignty. That being said, utilities are using the adaptation cycle explained by Shoshana Zuboff in Surveillance Capitalism to come back around and cancel out hard-won gains.
They keep at it so we have to be aware that the utility industry can just cut us off and continue to minimize dependence on them. Most opt-out meters can be converted to surveillance smart meters with the insertion of a small module or even by remote software commands.
