  1. This was a “no go” for us as well. Although thematically it has some strong qualities it relied heavily on sexual content and crude humor. Definitely not family friendly.

  2. My husband and I watch this one every year. It has been one of my favorites for many years, and it’s now one of his. Love really is all around, isn’t it? Thank you for sharing this!

  3. In the minority, I know, but I’m not a fan. Popcorn yes, and Emma, and a much more appealing Alan Rickman, in “Sense and Sensibility” for me.
Love Bill Nighy. “About Time” is a lovely Christmas choice.

  4. We watch this movie every year and “bought” on Amazon years ago. This year we noted they had edited out the scene w Bill Nye dancing mostly naked after he loses the bet. Haha, even the most woke movies are not immune. Also, of all things to edit out, that scene is pretty tame. We will be sorting thru the bins at our used book/movie store for the DVD.
