Never give up on a dream you may have. Keep faith and move forward! For 35 years, Martin Hurkens was “just a baker” in a town of the province of Limburg, Netherlands, but he always wanted to become an opera singer. When he became unemployed in 2010, his youngest daughter, unbeknownst to himself, signed him up for the Holland’s Got Talent show. His voice and musical gift floored both audience and jury, and he made the finals.
He was 57 years old when his life-long dream to be a professional singer came true. Since then, Martin Hurkens has performed on international tours in Europe, China, Taiwan, and Japan, and his shows have been seen by millions of people.
Remember to follow your dreams and always share your talents—like Martin Hurkens.
