Here are two men keeping their calm. When the on-board flight instructor collapses, a clear-minded and competent (anonymous) air traffic controller at Perth’s Jandakot Airport guides student pilot Max Sylvester—during his very first flight lesson—in landing a two-seater Cessna. 3. AMAZING! I spent hours flying the “right seat” of various small aircrafts and co-founded a commuter airline…and this air traffic controller was really fantastic.

I love that the student pilot kept his humor and used it to bleed off his nervousness. Brilliant job!
