Once again, Congressman Thomas Massie is our Hero of the Week.

Thomas Massie is a unique man, one who cannot be put into a box. As an MIT scientist, he invented and marketed a $20,000 haptic device, together with his wife, that allows computer users to receive the sense of actually touching virtual objects but as a down-to-earth and off-the-grid homesteader, he built his own house topped with 57 solar panels and made with wood and stone from his farm in Kentucky. He drives an electric car yet does not believe that there’s compelling evidence that climate change is driven by man-made carbon emissions. He is a family man and father of four, as well as an effective politician since 2012.

Equipped with common sense, a cheerful and likable personality, and a code of ethics, there is very little about practical life that Thomas Massie does not know, but instead, he spends time educating fellow members of Congress on their most blatant fallacies and illogical decisions. Here are the most recent examples, each one of them showing Mr. Massie’s fabulous ability to punch right in the face of evil while staying in a good mood:

1) Rep. Massie speaking up on behalf of the military regarding the efficacy of the “vaccines”:

I am absolutely saying that what the Secretary of Defense is doing right now is illegal…. I would characterize it as a crime in progress.

2) Rep. Massie speaking up against H.R. 1808, a bill to ban assault weapons, which would deprive law-abiding Americans of access to certain firearms while at the same time exempting government institutions from the ban:

Literally every bureaucratic agency in the government can have a weapon of war under this bill.”

3) Rep. Massie lecturing Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on the amount of electricity an electric car would cost the average American household:

The positive message in all of this is that there ARE people who are actually doing something; there are great representatives in Congress fighting for liberty and their constituents’ constitutional rights, and we must all support their efforts if we are going to make progress.
