By Jennifer Walters, BSN-RN, PHN, MFA
I first came to know of Dr. Chris Exley in 2015 while researching various toxins that might have harmed my son as part of his vaccine injury. Exley wasn’t an “autism researcher” and definitely not an ex-vaxxer like the majority of the vaccine-injured community. He is the world’s top expert in the third most abundant element in the Earth’s crust: aluminum.
In his 2020 book, Imagine You Are an Aluminum Atom: Discussions with Mr. Aluminum, written during the pandemic lockdowns, Dr. Exley suggests we all need to know more about aluminum. Not a typical metal in the same way as mercury or lead, aluminum is particularly dangerous to all life because it is “superabundant” and “super-reactive,” both chemically and biologically, and our bodies have no idea how to handle any encounter with this metal.
In addition to talking about his book, we discuss some of the groundbreaking research findings of Exley and his research team, including the discovery of aluminum as “a” cause (not “the” cause) of familial Alzheimer’s, the dangers of aluminum-rich infant formula to our babies, and how aluminum gathers into lymphocytes in the brain tissue of people with autism. Exley’s open-access 2018 study on “aluminium in brain tissue in autism” has been downloaded a million times—more than any other study in history.
In a sane world, Exley should have received a Nobel Prize for his work. Instead, however, he has been a victim of cancel culture and scientific censorship, losing his university position and funding.
Our discussion wraps up with actions we can take to live safely in what Exley calls the Aluminum Age. “Finding Health in the Aluminum Age” can be like unlocking the fountain of youth for all of us. Simple measures include drinking one liter of silicon-rich water per day—clinically shown to remove aluminum from the body via the urine—as well as choosing safer cosmetics (many deodorants and sunscreens contain aluminum), using aluminum-free cookware, and avoiding foods that contain aluminum.
In Money & Markets this week, John Titus and Catherine will cover the latest events and continue to discuss the financial and geopolitical trends we are tracking in 2022. Post your questions for Ask Catherine or post at the Money & Markets commentary here.
Join me as I chat with Dr. Christopher Exley, PhD, FRSB, about his life’s work studying aluminum. And please explore the links to his book, website, medical blog, and Substack—his science needs to be supported.
Talk to you Thursday!

Good introduction to an honest scientist. I read his book and ordered 6 more for friends and family. Dr. Exley’s research which shows that Alzheimer’s is always associated with the presence of aluminum in the brains of autopsied patients is blockbuster information that is unfortunately being suppressed by the Aluminum Industry. The “disease maintenance system” and the majority of the scientific community (which is perhaps bought off by the Aluminum Industry) would like to blame Alzheimer’s solely on amyloid plaque which can also be present in Alzheimer’s autopsied brains. However, what is the explanation for how plaque can be the absolute causative agent when some people with large amounts of plaque never develop any Alzheimer’s symptoms while every Alzheimer patient’s autopsied brain always showed high levels of aluminum? Suppressing this fact is a crime against humanity. How many people might change their lifestyle specifically choosing to avoid products containing aluminum if they knew it could help them to avoid Alzheimer’s disease? Dr. Exley’s recommendation that the distribution of all vaccines which contain aluminum adjuvants, which amounts to 80% of them, should be halted immediately due to research which clearly shows aluminum is extremely toxic to the human body, especially the brain, should be heeded by every pediatrician. Even if vaccine injury does not exist in your friends and family, the possibility of developing Alzheimer’s disease should send us all to the grocery to buy silicon-rich mineral water as a preventative strategy. Since Dr. Exley has found aluminum to be present in air, water, soil, food, medicines, most vaccines, cooking equipment, antiperspirants, and even baby formula, we all end up with some level of aluminum poisoning from every day living. Dr. Exley’s studies have proven that this and only this type of water has the ability to bind to aluminum in the body and take it out through the kidneys. Even though silicon-rich mineral water is expensive, it seems a simple and effective way to reduce at least some of the poisons we accumulate in our bodies. Read his book. Drink the water. God bless people like Christopher for devoting his life to researching this ubiquitous toxin and Jennifer for spreading the word.
Great interview, thank you Dr. Exley and Mrs. Walters! Any thoughts on combining the silicon-rich mineral water protocol with the the protocol detailed in Dr. Gwen Scott’s 2011 interview with Catherine, particularly regarding diatomaceous earth (e.g., approximately one tablespoon per day of diatomaceous earth in distilled water on an empty stomach), as discussed here: https://library.solari.com/dr-gwen-scott-aerosol-spraying-mitigating-the-harm-to-your-health/ ? Regards, John
John, Thanks for the question! Sorry for my late reply, I took a computer free summer vacation with my husband and kids. But, better late than never!
I have used Dr Exley’s recommendation of 1Liter of Silicon-Rich mineral water per day while using all sorts of other health boosting treatments. I haven’t taken DE internally, but I do use it in teeth treatments, foot baths and the like. I can’t see how adding silicon-rich water to your everyday regimen would be an issue.
According to Dr Exley and his 30yrs of research on Aluminum and how to remove it from our body, silicon-rich mineral water is the only proven way to do so.
You can follow Dr Exley on Substack and ask him yourself. He goes into great detail in his book as well.

I just bought some Stevia made by Sweet Leaf, and in addition to stevia it contains silica….will this be helpful for eliminating aluminum like Fiji water?
Mary,
I apologize for the late reply!
Although I love Stevia and use it in my tea and coffee for a bit of yummy, the silica in it is not the same as the ingredient in Silicon-Rich Mineral water.
Dr Exley explains it in his book and in several articles on his site and substack.
Basically, the only think he has proven in his several decades of research that seems to remove aluminum from our body burden is Silicon Rich Mineral Water. My family and I drink 1 Liter a day of Fiji water that I order online to be delivered from the company’s website or I pick up at a local grocery store.
Enjoy the sweet leaf as a treat in your recipes, but not as an aluminum remover.
Have a great weekend!

There is a product called Cell Food that I use regularly.
Their brand for Silica is
CELLFOOD Esential Silica Formula
Please Advise.
Excellent interview by the way! Jennifer is well informed and engaging on this topic as she and other families from vaccine injured children have logged in hundreds, if not thousands of hours of research on the topic as advocates for their children. I found Jennifers interaction, additional information engaging and refreshing. An interview is one plus one discussion with valued interaction flowing both ways.
I have noticed a few input writings that in my personal opinion, should be removed as they are not of any value whatsoever to this informative discussion. If the comment was on paper, I would have used it to start a fire to keep the mosquitos away in the yard. If one wants, they can certainly find stuffy Barbara Walters interviews in the archives somewhere else on the internet of things. We are ALL paying subscribers and my vote is to remove childish back and forth banter that quite frankly, cheapens this platform to even acknowledge the insult.
EXCELLENT JOB!
40 years of research is worth reading his book for knowledge and sharing information. His life’s work must be compensated. Buy the book and refer others for his innumerable findings which would never be encapsulated in an hour interview.
Jennifer provided additional information for the viewers and Dr. Exley with her son’s visible improvement. I am sure he appreciated hearing this. Her sage advice for all humans affected by the detrimental sequelae is valuable to the Solari Family.
When you read his book, consider tearing out a few pages to chew on for added information and detraction from spewing insults.
Thank you Jennifer for this engaging interview and Dr. Exley for your lifelong research and passion.

Heather,
So sorry for the late reply, I have been on a tech break for the summer with my kids and hubby.
I haven’t gotten to read all of the replies due to my summer vacation and now I am a little afraid to look… lol
Thank you for the support!
Yes, I am not a professional interviewer, but I have been working day and night for the past 15 plus years to recover my son from the hell that is vaccine injury. Along the way I have worked with thousands of parents and others that have used my advice to find their own way to health. I also work as a volunteer RN to help decipher what doctors have said, look into further treatments and how to ask health providers for help and basically how to survive in and out of the health care system.
There are so many interviews out there with Dr Exley that go over each page of his book. I wanted to have a conversation of what I thought was interesting and what worked for our family in his book. I am sure I will improve in my interviews as I go along, but again, I am just normal person, a nurse, a mom and a motor mouth. ; )
I do love my Solari family very much and am grateful for the opportunity to get to share the health care topics I have found that hopefully will help us through this healthcare nightmare and into real health.
Thank you! -Jennifer

My Mama, God rest her soul, told me, “You can’t please everyone all of the time so just do what you think is right ALL of the time. It’s none of your business what others think about you”.
Jennifer,
How do I get a hold of you? I’d like to either speak with you or send you a private message.
Don’t worry – you’re NOT in trouble.
Elizabeth,
So sorry for the late reply, I have been on summer break with the kids.
I am on Solari Connect. I haven’t been on lately due to the summer break but I will be more active on there this week.

Does the silica in Fiji water outweigh the micro plastics from the bottle?
That is what I have been wondering about Acilis.
My thought as well. Especially sitting on loading docks in the sun.
CELLFOOD is a trusted brand and I am looking forward to Jennifer reaching out to
Dr. Exley for input and his findings.
I will share this information and refer them to Dr. Exley’s site to others. I research and share with the Wellness community in a variety of platforms.

Drew, Wonderful question. I am so sorry this is late, I have been on a summer break with my kids. I think that Acilis is available in glass bottles?… I move mine to glass pitchers as soon as possible since I have access to Fiji. I will ask Dr Exley, Fiji and the rest for a reply to the question.
Thank you!
Have a great weekend!
Hi Jennifer,
This was a very interesting interview! I will look for Dr Exleys book.
I read in one of the comments that you would be interested in interviewing Dr Tom Cowan (I am a huge fan of him). I am a subscriber to his subscribestar page https://www.subscribestar.com/dr-tom-cowan# and he does a zoom occasionally with medical professionals incase you are interested. I also found this for you https://drtomcowan.com/pages/interview-request.
Laura,
I am so sorry for the late response, I took a summer vacay with the family.
I have Dr Tom Cowan on my wish list! I work with so many who have heart issues and I find his outlook on that to be eyeopening and exciting! Plus, I am a member and huge fan of the Weston Price Foundation and his last book with Sally Fallon, The Contagion Myth.
Thank you for the link for interview requests!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Jennifer
Deeply Enriching – Thank you for your geniune unabashed enthusiasm

Lori,
Thank you! You have made my day.
God Bless,
Jennifer
I bought some silica-rich Sousas water and it is absolutely delicious! It’s like my body knows it’s good stuff and is rewarding me with the yummy to get me to drink more.
Thanks, Dr Exley
Wonderful
According to their Facebook page they now have glass bottles available.
It is hard for him to say the truth, when the interviewer won’t shut up and let him speak. I came to listen to him talk about Aluminium, not have you ask a good question and then rabbit on on how you handle doctors for goodness knows how long and never actually get an answer to your original question. The art of being an interviewer is to ask questions and then stop talking.
Zoe:
If you read the comments, you will see that Jennifer agrees with your point and has said several times that she will make sure this will not happen again. I am sorry you felt irritated. However, I appreciate constructive criticism at Solari. We are trying to help each other be better. I also appreciate truthful feedback, so thank you for taking the time to let Jennifer know.
Catherine
Zoe, thank you for taking the time to listen to my interview. It was my privilege to be the first interviewee in the health series hosted by Jennifer. I enjoyed the interview and I appreciated Jennifer’s enthusiasm. I concur with Catherine’s reply and while future interviews may be different I do hope that Jennifer does not compromise her informal and friendly approach.
Zoe,
I am so sorry I am getting back to you so late, I was on a summer break with my kids. I am also very sorry that I was annoying! To be fair, this was my first interview and my excitement and nerves were hard to control. I am working on shutting up more. I have signed up for a workshop for online interviewing with an awesome casting director out here in Los Angeles. It doesn’t start for a bit but hopefully with time and more training I will get better at this. Please pray for me that I can get better at this wonderful opportunity I was given.
Dr Exley is a delight and his knowledge is amazing. Check out his Substack, his book and all the other interviews out there as well on his website.

Thank you Jennifer for a great interview with Dr. Exley! It was so informative! Thank you Dr. Exley for all your research and giving us hope! Looking forward to your next interview with Solari, and purchasing your book. Blessings..
Sheila, Thank you so much! Enjoy the book! Have a great week. -Jennifer
This covered a lot of bases. It revealed the author’s personality by his adaptability to non traditional interview. Jennifer brought items out, that were not touched by Dr. Exley. Thank you for the focus on this topic. Great start. Thank you Dr. Exley.
John,
Thank you for your comment! Have a wonderful week!
Jennifer
Jennifer,
Thank you for this interview with Dr. Exley. I bought his book and plan on sharing with the rest of my family.
I am taking NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) for some toxin removal focused on the spike protein (via shedding).
Keep us posted on funding efforts to continue his research.
I am interested in the treatment with clay. My daughter married into a Native American family and it is a standard medicine cabinet item.
Congratulation on your first interview and I look forward to many more!!!
Melissa
Melissa,
Clay is high on my list for research. I use bentonite clay in my homemade tooth powder plus it makes a wonderful foot soak! Using what nature put in place to heal and protect us is such a miracle! Thank you for the comment. Have a great week! -Jennifer
I read Dr. Exley’s book and article vis-a-vis sources of Aluminum toxicity to include vaccines, deodorants, etc. but no mention anywhere, not even a whisper about Chemtrails. WHY ???? Makes no sense to me !!!
Allen Duplantis MD
I do address this subject in my book, p44-45.
Dr. Duplantis,
Thank you for taking the time to comment! I completely agree that chemtrails and other sources of aluminum in our air is a very scary and important factor in body burden of this metal.
Dr Exley talks about Chemtrails and other aluminum-rich PM’s in a section labeled “The Air We Breathe” on pages 44-45 in Chapter 8.
He states on page 44, “The air that we breathe is largely unavoidable exposure to aluminum.” He points out that exposure from the air is “implicated in all manner of human disease, from respiratory disorders to neurological disease such as Alzheimer’s disease.”
He also mentions the SPICE project (Stratospheric Particle Injection from Climate Engineering) that was created to “investigate the feasibility of using aerosols in climate change mitigation.” He went onto say, “All information specific to this project has disappeared from the EPSRC(Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council) website, and just one document from 2011, remains and NERC (Natural Environment Research Council) website.

Thank you for the comment.
Agreed
Jennifer,
Thanks for the interview with Dr. Exley. I wish, however, that you had let him speak more. While your passion and reflections are much appreciated, he was the focus and the reason why I had made a point of listening. BTW, I’ve ordered his book.
John,
Thank you for the comment, I will do my best next time. I am so glad you ordered his book!
Have a wonderful week,
Jennifer
Thank you Jennifer for your authenticity and intencity. This interview was fascinating. Nevertheless, I would have liked to hear more about the precious knowledge he gattered during his 40 years career, having Dr Exley speaks longer time with no interference. I will be getting his book and I will also try to find a way to drink silicon water without having to throw/recycle away a 1L bottle of plastic/day. That will be a challenge. Thank you to Dr Exley for searching and speaking the truth for all these years.
I take zeolite to remove heavy metals. Would this be useful to remove aluminum?
Judith,
I have the Zeolite spray as well and love it. After reading Dr Exley’s book and following his studies for years, I do not believe it removes aluminum but it does detox other bad stuff.
Aluminum is like no other metal or toxin in our body. His book illustrates this perfectly.
His Substack has a wonderful post about Silicon Rich mineral water… https://drchristopherexley.substack.com/p/silicon-rich-natural-waters?utm_source=%2Fprofile%2F75069001-dr-christopher-exley&utm_medium=reader2&s=r
He wraps up that post perfectly: “Silicon-rich mineral waters are notable exceptions and published science suggests that they are natural therapies to counter human exposure to aluminium. Silicic acid is Nature’s way of keeping aluminium out of living things. Some might say a gift from God. I drink one every day. I am both a follower of science and a believer.”
Have a great weekend,
Jennifer
Thanks Jennifer. I ordered his book, and am off to the store to buy some cases of Fiji water. This has been enlightening, and I’m sharing the information with others.
Be(a)ware that zeolite is an aluminosilicate, with emphasis on aluminum. On top of highly toxic aluminum, zeolite also contains a bevy of other highly toxic heavy metals. I had the zeolite prescribed by a renown alt-med Dr tested for heavy metals in a forensic laboratory and was shocked by the results. The lab found aluminum, arsenic, cobalt, lead, mercury, nickel, palladium, tin, and zirconium! Far from de-toxing, Zeolite increases the body’s overall burden of toxic heavy metals. Take it at your peril.
Ira, Thank you for the information! Yikes! Thankfully I don’t use the spray often but when I did I used it topically on some foot issues. The information I had on it didn’t include aluminum but I will do more research. My detox program has always been focused on low-dose chelation that I will talk about in another interview. I am cautious about any ‘detox’ products, but the zeolite spray helped clear my foot rash quickly, I am glad I didn’t make it a habit. Thank you for the comment. -Jennifer
I really enjoyed this and learned a lot! I will be following him. Thank you!
Thank you for this wonderful interview.
Jennifer is such a nice person.
God bless you both!
Iulia,
Thank you for the complement and God Bless you as well, have a wonderful weekend.
Jennifer
Thank you for the informative interview with Dr. Exley. I am assuming Fiji water will help with all the elemental aluminum being sprayed in the chemtrails.
Suzanne,
The most important thing I have learned from reading Dr Exley’s work is, Aluminum is toxic & our bodies have no mechanism for dealing with it. Which makes what they spray in our air really horrifying.
According to Dr Exley’s book, Chapter 4, his research group defined “body burden of aluminum as all of the aluminum that is associated with the body at any one time. “That includes all of the aluminum that is on the inside of the body and, critically, all of the aluminum that is on the outside of the body”.( end of quote)
There is a great image in his book (Figure 4, page 14) that showcases the multiple ways we are exposed “from uptake to excretion” to aluminum everyday that create our “body burden”. The top Exposures are: 1)Medicinal- enter through the Lung, Gut, Skin & Nose. 2) Aerosol- enter through Lung, Gut, Skin & Nose. 3)Diet- Gut 4)Topical- Skin.
We can help ourselves by avoiding some of these exposures like food, topicals etc… but air is difficult to avoid. The good news is, silicon-rich mineral water helps to excrete all types of aluminum through urine..
FYI, What he has written in his book about “chemtrails”:
Dr Exley states on page 44& 45 of his book, “The air we breathe is largely unavoidable exposure to aluminum.” He goes on to talk about various forms and causes of aluminum exposure from natural wind-blown dust to fuel particulates. There is a lot of aluminum in these particulate materials. He knows that “aerosols of aluminum salts are also proposed as tools for engineering climate.” But he is going to reserve judgment on the “contribution to human exposure of aluminum” via geo-engineering until there is “incontrovertible evidence”.
(as for myself, Jennifer, I believe there are such weather weapons and programs)
Thank you for the comment,
Jennifer
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for this delightful interview! I wish you continued success in many more to follow!
Claudia, Thank you! Have a wonderful week! -Jennifer
Detox treatment with clay water is promoted here by alternative medicine for years. Clay used for this is mostly silica with some other minerals like Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium.. cost is 4-5$ per kg which will last a long time since 1-3 teaspoons is used per day. a paste made from it put on a wound will heal it faster than anything else.
Where is “here”, Sorin? Thank you.
Sorin,
I have special clays for detoxing on my list for investigation. This one sounds wonderful!
These types of treatments that are not man-made reminds me of what Dr Exley posted in his Substack about Silicon-Rich mineral water:
“Silicon-rich mineral waters are notable exceptions and published science suggests that they are natural therapies to counter human exposure to aluminium. Silicic acid is Nature’s way of keeping aluminium out of living things. Some might say a gift from God. I drink one every day. I am both a follower of science and a believer.”
I love it, Natures way of keeping us healthy, truly a gift from God.
Thank you for your comment!
Jennifer
Yes, this was great. My mother died of early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 70, having had it for ten or more years. I’m now 68 and would like to get rid of any aluminum in my brain but also am aware of other contaminants that I would like to filter our of my drinking water. Let’s assume I could stop aluminum contamination today (perhaps unrealistic), do you know how long I would need to drink the Fiji water to clear out the aluminum that is in my body now? Or do I need to drink this for the rest of my life? Keep up the good work — there is an endless list of good topics for you to cover!
Carolyn,
I am so sorry you lost her so young to such a horrific disease. There are so many with Alzheimers now, it is why I chose Aluminum education for my first interview, because there is something we can do about aluminum body burden.
Dr Exley’s groundbreaking study about Alzheimers and Aluminum in the brain was using persons who passed with familial Alzheimers. His conclusions were: No Aluminum, No Alzheimers.
I try to focus my aluminum removal and prevention on a few things. As you know, a huge contributor to aluminum body burden is the adjuvants in the shots, so never take another shot again. Then I try to do the best I can to keep aluminum out of my food, cookware and topical products. Because I don’t think we ever stop being bombarded with aluminum in the things we can’t control, I see silicon-rich mineral water as a part of my life forever. I have a water filter for toxins for our entire house, and I try to drink a 1L of Fiji water per day.
Thank you for the comment and all your hard work for us subscribers! Have a wonderful week!
Jennifer
Fantastic topic and fantastic guest. This is one of the best, most useful pieces I’ve seen on Solari. I’ll be ordering the book and adding the mineral water to our regimine. Great job!!!
Susan, Thank you! Dr Exley is marvelous, intelligent and kind. His book and research are important. Enjoy the water! Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for this info. I knew of Dr X but hadn’t looked into him. I’ll try the Fiji water and see if I can tell the difference. I got rid of aluminium pots and pans years ago and I use coconut oil as the first layer then on top milk of magnesia as the second layer for deodorant. It works well for light to medium activity. Do you have any plans to address excess omega 6? Dr Chris Knobbe has a good video on YouTube about it. Dr Mercola talks about it a lot and has a book coming out. Dr Paul Saladino, the Carnivore MD, talks about it on his podcast a lot including with Tucker Goodrich.
Darren, I think of Fiji water in terms of prevention more than correction but for my son there was definitely a positive change to his life. Thank you for the suggestion on omega 6. Yes, it is on my list, I ran into a lot of information about it when doing research on glyphosate. Ugh. What a nightmare. Stay tuned… -Jennifer
Just in case some are not able to get silicon water in the future. Equisetum arvense grows nearly everywhere in the US, even in the Rocky Mtns.
Horsetail is an ancient plant that has been utilized for millennia for its nourishing properties. Also known as bottle brush, shavegrass, and scouring rush, horsetail is often incorporated into shampoo and skin care products. Our horsetail powder is ground from organic Equisetum arvense and can be tinctured, encapsulated, and infused into herbal body care recipes.
Horsetail has a recorded history going back to the Devonian period. The plant at that time was as tall as a modern palm tree. Horsetail, not to be confused with cat-tail, is possibly the most abundant source of silica in the plant kingdom, so much in fact that the herb can be used for polishing metal. It got the name “scouring rush” from this very application. It has had other uses during the ages including as an ingredient in shampoos, skincare products, and in dietary supplements. Horsetail belongs to the Equisetaceae plant family.

https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/equisetum-arvense/
Sandra,
Thank you for the links and information.
I like horsetail for many health benefits, but I do not rely on it for removal of aluminum. I do believe it is an anti-inflammatory, helps with water retention, creates healthy nails and hair and it has helped heal urinary tract infections along with D. Mannose. It is a wonderful addition for overall health for sure.
According to Dr Exley, he did not find horsetail and similar supplements were able to clinically remove aluminum from the blood and tissues. He states, “We have investigated and tested every so-called silicon/silica supplement which is available to buy and not one of them can provide a high and immediate level of silicic acid for absorption across the gut and into the blood”.
A Fact Sheet from his group states: “A high level of silicic acid in the blood is essential to ensure that the product it makes with aluminum remains stable for long enough for it to be filtered by the kidney. This is why only silicon-rich mineral waters, where the silicon content is above 30mg/L or ppm when stated as ‘silica’ or 14mg/L or ppm when stated as ‘silicon’ or ‘silicic acid’ (sometimes written as OSA orthosilicic acid), will help to remove aluminum from the body.” end of quotes.
In his book, Chapter 9, goes into greater detail on how the silicon rich mineral water “keeps aluminum at bay”.
There are so many things that can help us stay healthy that are God made. : )
Thank you for the comment!
Jennifer
In what form did Dr. Exley use the horsetail? Can it not be used as a tisane?
Sandra, I love using horsetail as a tisane, usually in a tea form for water retention and UTI issues as needed. I know that Dr Exley has studied the horsestail plant, he has written a few papers on it’s properties. I have heard him state in many interviews that if any silica rich supplement in any form did what silicon-rich mineral water did, he would be thrilled. But, for now the water is what gets results in his research. Read his book, it really goes into detail about what he found. Remember, you can ask him questions about horsetail and aluminum removal through his Substack or write him at his research group’s website as well. I would love to hear what you find out from him. Horsetail has many benefits, thank you for the links about it. -Jennifer
I have weak fingernails and have asked MD doctors about it and they say it’s just aging. I doubt that, but the only advice is to ingest gelatin. I don’t like Jello (too sweet) and putting gelatin in things can make them mucky (although I suppose it my be OK in smoothies). You mention above that horsetail may improve nails. How would I get it and use it for this purpose?
Carolyn,
Sandra’s comment above had a wonderful link to horsetail drops. You can read about them here: https://mountainroseherbs.com/horsetail-extract I would add them to coconut oil and massage into my scalp and/or nails, I have also added similar drops to a tea. There are other brands out there, just find what you like. As for gelatin, you don’t have to use Jello-yuck. lol I use a scoop of powder made of collagen/gelatin in a cold or hot beverage, it’s tasteless and easy to do. I have noticed my squeaky knees aren’t as noisy when I added this into my diet. I also use a bone broth mix and add it to my rice cooker, box soups and noodles for extra nutrition. Here is the company I use but there are a ton out there (this is not an affiliate link-just a company I have used). Watch for clean brands that test for the dreaded glyphosate & other chemicals.

I also use Biotin capsules, it helps with hair and nails but also boosts the immune health. Follow the instructions on the bottle. I like Pure Encapsulations Biotin capsules.

I was pretty excited you were able to get Dr. Exley for your first interview. I read his book as soon as it came out…and then, bought three more copies. One for each of my sons. I don’t know if they read it but I do know one of the mother-in-laws might have because she is now drinking figi water and providing it to the grandkids.
Not only did you succeed in obtaining a serious, ethical researcher for your first interview, you did a very nice interview.
Thank you Donna! Yes, it is an important book. I have been following his research for sometime and have done the “aluminum removal” of any products in my house that we eat or apply and I STILL run into some that I missed. That is why I make it a priority to keep a silicon rich mineral water in my diet to help remove what I missed. Have a great weekend! Jennifer
This was an answer to prayer, asking for detox methods we can integrate into our daily lives. My “better living through chemistry” husband is struggling with Parkinson’s after 40 years on insulin injections (and the recently promoted ones). How do we find Silicon-rich mineral water in the US?
Lisa, I am so sorry about your husband’s Parkinson’s. Ugh. Dr Exley says it’s not so much a ‘detox’ but a removal of the aluminum from the blood via the kidney’s through urine. His book explains it better than I ever could.
Below is a link to the Fact Sheet and some places to purchase the silicon rich mineral water.
We use Fiji because they deliver and a subscription makes it cheaper. Be sure to get his book, go to his website and read up on the studies. I have found drinking this water has helped my son in a few ways, mostly his language becomes easier, he isn’t struggling for works or ‘restarting’ sentences all the time and he is not as clumsy. It didn’t change his diagnosis or make him ‘all better’ but I can see the difference after a week or so drinking the water. It can’t hurt to try. Plus hydration is always helpful.
Another thing that integrative medicine docs I work with use with their Parkinson’s patients is magnesium. Look into Morley Robbins newest book on Cure: Your Fatigue. It has some interesting stuff on minerals that always help muscles, brain and overall health.
Praying for you.

Great interview! Thank you! Does structured water help remove aluminum or has it been studied? Water testing positive for arsenic and then structured, no longer tested positive for arsenic. I don’t understand the chemistry of why but thought there might be an overlapping mechanism here.
Also, where can we buy his book that will give him the most income? Obviously not Amazon.
Krista, We drink a similar structured water but I also order Fiji water and have 1L per day for everyone in my house. I still don’t entirely understand the water, but Dr Cowan is on my list of dream interviews, I am sure he can explain it! Fingers crossed. Dr Exley’s link to the book lists many places for purchase, I am sure he gets paid where ever you buy it. But I bought mine when it was first released from the publisher. Hope that helps.

Excellent interview, thank you.
Some very good videos about aluminum and Silica water. Video #3 shows how to make a (cheap) homemade version of Silica water.

Video #3 Silica water, how to make it:
https://youtu.be/po8IuIXjCME
Natalie, Thank you for the links, they have some great ideas! As a nurse I do have to say that video #3 is worrisome. I do not advise making your own silicon-rich mineral water. I stick with the Nature made versions that are available everywhere beverages are sold, links at the bottom of my reply. You only need a liter per day, so it works out to be reasonable for us. Dr Exley has stated in his book, Imagine You Are An Aluminum Atom, on page 58 (and many peer reviewed papers & interviews) that it is impossible to make your own mineral water high in silicon.
He states: “Preparation of something equivalent to a silicon-rich mineral water requires sophisticated laboratory equipment. In my laboratory we prepare water that is highly dissolved silicon-silicic acid-for research purposes. However, under no circumstances would I advocate drinking this water. Unless water is made or bottled under conditions that are proven biologically safe you cannot produce a drinking water that is safe for human consumption. Even in a sophisticated laboratory such as my own. Do not believe what you read and watch on the internet: you cannot make a silicon-rich mineral water. Only Nature can do this.” end of quote.
And since Dr Exley has been studying Aluminum and Silicon-rich mineral waters for over thirty-six years, I tend to stick with his guidance for safety.
His book also tells the story of Rex Garratt, a retired journalist who was interested in helping to promote/fund raise for the Alzheimers studies with mineral waters and he went to Spritzer water company to set up an import agreement with them to bring their brand to the UK. This guy was pretty amazing. He used his sales skills and “entrepreneurial flair” to set up his own company SilicaWaters to sell Acilis (Silica spelled backwards) because he wanted to support the Alzheimers research that showed such promise. Of course the university where Dr Exley did his research stopped him from accepting any funding from the sales of any waters, or from anyone at all. But the water company still exists and any small profits from it, they provide Acilis water to interested groups free of charge. I love that story, it shows how good people really are. We don’t want to make a fortune on the backs of others, we would rather invest in people & healthy futures vs profits from harm. Acilis isn’t available currently in the US due to customs issues but it is available most everywhere else. See links below. Hope that makes sense.
Thank you for the comment and videos! Have a wonderful weekend. -Jennifer
Here is a list of various silicon rich mineral waters and a Fact Sheet that I will try to add under resources on this page soon.

Volvic is one of the three that Chris Exley recommends and is widely available, incl in the US. Even Walmart stocks it.
Volvic has 32mg/litre of Silica https://www.volvic.co.uk/products/natural-mineral-water/volvic-natural-mineral-water/natural-mineral-water-500ml
I successfully used Volvic for my “Exley protocol”.
Cheers!
I just ordered 2 cartons of the Acilis.
Yes, Volvic is one of the three he recommends, they are all wonderful. I am partial to Acilis and Fiji myself but they are all rich in silicon. Thank you for the comment!
-Cheers, Jennifer
Hello, I loved this interview! Thank you ?
However I’m having difficulty finding silica water
in the USA. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your time in advance,
Denise ?
Denise, We use Fiji water. I have it delivered directly from the website. My local mom and pop & chain grocery stores carry it as well. https://www.fijiwater.com/ Hope that helps! Have a great weekend! -Jennifer
How much Fuji water would you give a 5 year old daily?
Thank you!
Denise, I have given my both of my boys FIji, the youngest started at 5. I gave him 500ml per day and the older one at 10yrs I started giving him the 1L per day. I know a lot of moms that put it in their toddler’s sippy cups, some add it to baby formula. You can always ask Dr Exley on his substack or website email as well. https://substack.com/profile/75069001-dr-christopher-exley
Have a great week!
Jennifer
Denise, the Fiji Water site lets you put in your zip code to find a source. I have four or five sources within a mile of my house, including Kroger, which is one of if not the largest grocery chain in the US. You can “subscribe” to get Fiji water by the case mailed to you without additional postage charges on the Fiji site.
Great interview! Thank you for your efforts on educating us.
Jeffrey, Thank you! Be sure to check out all the links, lots of resources to look into. Dr Exley’s Book, Substack and the films he was in are all listed. Have a great weekend! -Jennifer
Matthew,
Great question! Dr Exley goes into this in depth in his book “Imagine you are an Aluminum Atom”, various papers and lectures (see links in above). His book is amazing. Basically, there is no supplement that does what Silicon rich mineral water can do- remove aluminum from the blood through our urine. His group has tested supplements, he has said in many lectures and his book how he would love it if a pill or additive of some sort would do the same thing as the mineral water, but nothing was scientifically proven to work at removing aluminum. They may have other health benefits but they do not do what silicon rich water can do. Supplement companies from all over have tried to get him to say their products work at removing aluminum, some have falsely claimed they do even using his name, but this type of water is the only proven remover of aluminum. The last paragraph from his Substack article “Silicon Rich Mineral Waters” sums it up the best: “Silicon-rich mineral waters are notable exceptions and published science suggests that they are natural therapies to counter human exposure to aluminium. Silicic acid is Nature’s way of keeping aluminium out of living things. Some might say a gift from God. I drink one every day. I am both a follower of science and a believer.” -Dr Exley Substack https://drchristopherexley.substack.com/p/silicon-rich-natural-waters?s=r
Chapter 8 of his book states:
“To provide continuous protection against the possibility of aluminum toxicity, try to drink about 1L per day of any mineral water where the content of Silicon is above 30mg/L (or ppm) when labeled (erroneously) as silica or 14mg/L when labeled as silicic acid or just silicon. You can drink throughout the day or in two or three larger volumes when its convenient.” (page 57)
I have Fiji water delivered from their website to my house here in the US, there is Spritzer in the UK and thanks to Rex Garratt- read about him in the book- there is Acilis in the UK, Europe and South Africa.
Hope that info helps.
Thank you for your question.
Jennifer
Jennifer,
Are there any alternatives to Fiji water? Can you add it in a supplement form to your diet?
Thank you Sandra! I guess I am training on the job. ; ) I learned a lot plus I tried to stick to a list and not go over 5 hours lol. I will get better at this-knock wood. Dr Exley is amazing and so generous with his time. Everyone must own his book in their library for sure. Have a great weekend! -Jennifer
Jennifer,
Thank you for having Chris Exley on the show. He is a perfect first interview.
I recommend all my neurological patients drink silica-rich water, as I do myself. I also recommend that bottle-fed babies’ parents mix their formula with Fiji water.
Elisabeth, Thank you so much for the comment. I agree, Fiji is a perfect mix for the formula. -Jennifer
Jennifer please talk less and let your guests speak more.
Linda, I will try my best next time. This was my first interview so there always room for improvement. Thank you for the comment. Have a wonderful weekend! -Jennifer
You did great. It’s takes practice. I was blessed to have extensive corporate training back in the day. The content was gold. Good luck.
I can tell you from personal experience that the baby formula recipes from WAPF are excellent. My friend and I made many for her grandson who loved them and he developed quite nicely.
We really loved the ones with home made bone stock in the formula.
Yes! I have used them with my second baby, he is 10 now, and doing well! I still use the bone stock recipe and some of the parts of the meat formula for my oldest son who is vax injured to add in calories that are easy for him to digest. So glad you commented! -Jennifer
