I wonder if the Popsicle Index – Dow Index inverse correlation can be sufficiently measured in the shorter term. i.e. in the bear markets of 2002 and 2008, have we seen the Popsicle Index *increase*? I realize that the Popsicle Index is more of a concept, not a number like the Dow, but I wonder what people’s experiences have been during these bear markets with regards to the Popsicle Index.
