Scary article, rather short on details and facts, as a couple of commenters point out. In fact, the comments make fascinating reading, running the gamut from “let’s nuke China” (not an exact quote, but it gets the sentiment expressed) to “It’s all our (American consumers’) fault”.
And somewhere in there are a couple of scientist-types with technical info on drywall and its constituent parts and what might be happening. Pretty much a “state of the nation” snapshot!
