One of the most truly indecent things here in Italy, apart from all the other shenanigans, has been the imposition of what I call the “Nazi Pass” to get into museums. As you and Joseph have said time and again, “they” are mortally afraid of real culture, and of places where artwork and art lovers come together. Now I am not a very assiduous museum visitor, and my house is more like a library, but when the present occupation regime collapses, I will certainly appreciate such places much more.
And your idea of a “Library of Alexandria” project could be further developed!
