I have a habit of trolling through discounted DVD bins at truck stops and out of the way local video stores. Such bins are great sources of aging B grade movies that illuminate real politics and covert operations. Knowing this to be my habit, a friend started trolling the bins as well and found a 1982 comedy with Sean Connery Wrong Is Right that I had never seen.  If you want to understand global history, watch this one and realize that it was made 25 years ago, just as Iran Contra was moving to full blossom. No doubt it was written earlier and someone spent big bucks making and distributing it. Fiction does not create criminal liability. Rather, it is a safe way for folks to crow about their covert success. The truth is really all to be found in the movies and great fiction to be found on network news.

  1. I just found your website after hearing you on the radio the other night. I am learning quite a bit from you. I’d like to return the favor. “Fiction is Fact, Fact is Fiction” – that is so true. If you’d like to know of some real world solutions to global problems, take a look at the website that I included under my email address. It’s proof positive that what you say is true. What we hear on the network news is pure fiction. I will be emailing a few friends with links to your site. Thanks.
