A very close friend, a former client of mine (in his 80s) and my mother in her late 70s are completely obsessed with investing in this scheme, which rubbed me the wrong way from the get-go. Thank you for this post, though quite late, I am a new subscriber.
Your take is so right Catherine: disaster capitalism like this really is offensive to every fibre of ones being.
