From a Reader:

Q: Ms Fitts,

I’ve reviewed your videos, history and website.

One thing I struggle with:

While you parallel many of our* views about the failing state of the US, you own and promote a LARGE investment company. I take it you still feel the financial system, or portions thereof, will survive?

– A Solari Reader

* The shared view by approximately 4 million informed and intelligent people, that the US/World and/or its monetary/Political systems will collapse.

Catherine Responds:

A: I believe the financial system will survive and evolve. I think the chances that the financial system will collapse are very small. Indeed, the likely way a collapse happens IMO is if it is intentionally engineered to look that way.

Best regards,

Catherine

PS: One of my colleagues writes to me in response to this post: “If you are going to publish a reader question that says you own a large investment company, my advice would be that you clarify that you do not own an investment company – an affiliate of Solari that you own is a state-registered investment adviser in certain states.  An investment company is a pooled vehicle (fund) consisting of investments that investors are equity owners in.  You are not involved in such  a fund.”

  1. From what I hear from you, you also think that a number of people and business have experienced or will experience collapse on a small scale. The business I (and my partners) had in 2006 has certainly collapsed since then.

You have also encouraged your subscribers to invest capital to create their own energy and grow their own food. So, this is a point of commonality with the people who are anticipating economic collapse. Most of them are building their resiliency in these ways.

I would say that the political system, in so far as it is based on the Constitution, has already collapsed. What we have now is a show in which they are continually pushing the line of what people will accept until it is indistinguishable from fascism.
