This week, Thomas Meyer returns with the next installment in the Spiritual Science in the Present Age Series, discussing what he calls Occult Politics.
As Thomas defines the term, “occult politics” examines current political events through a Spiritual Science lens that takes nonphysical realities into account, including the notion of the “spirit of nations” as well as the concept of humanity’s spiritual growth across major cultural epochs, with each epoch lasting roughly 2160 years. A Slavic epoch is expected to follow the current Anglo-German epoch.
From the occult politics perspective, we can see that political actors who are aware of the cultural epochs may try to prepare for the next epoch by steering current events—or nations—in directions favorable to their long-term interests. This can help us understand the possible hidden agendas behind conflicts such as the war in Ukraine, which increasingly appears like nothing less than an all-out assault against Middle Europe and especially Germany.
In his previous “Magnolia Intermezzo” interview, Thomas discussed the Friedman Doctrine—the view that a united Russia and Germany are the only power that could pose a threat to the Anglo-American alliance. Although it was in 2015 that Friedman articulated this doctrine, the West began aggressively seeking to prevent the coming together of these two nations a century earlier during WWI. As Thomas notes, these destructive actions suggest it is the will of the West to dominate the present and also humanity’s future development—by ensuring that Russia never develops the healthy relationship with Europe that is needed.

A delight to listen to Herr Meyer! Thank you.
Thank you for introducing this man into my life. He is so genuine and speaks from his heart with honesty. I have never travelled over the Atlantic to his world but Thomas opens this part of the world in his videos. He is so knowledgable in history matters, I hope he has more videos in this series. He makes me want to learn more about history so I can understand the present drama-filled country of the USA that I live in.
I have always been the “black sheep” of the family not conforming to any part of “normal” life. My husband and I turned the cable/TV off after 9/11 and never went back to the “acid drip”. My 3 kids do not even have TVs in their houses but of course multiple handhelds computers (LOL)!
Since I joined Solari over a year ago, my eyes, brain and heart have been opened ten-fold and so has my library (LOL)! I only wish that I had found Catherine years ago.
Looks like being the “black sheep” is not such a bad gig ?
Wonderful. Thank you so much Thomas Mayer. Particularly appreciated your teaching about Churchill’s part in the Occult History of the bombing of Dresden and the Animus towards Germany by him and the American policies.There is a lovely chorale “The Dresden Requiem ” by Irishman Cormac O’Duffy that was performed in Dresden Germany and Coventry England in the 1990’s in an attempt to address this Animus spiritually and communally. And when I heard your talk this evening your spoken words and your tone conveyed spiritual healing as surely as music does. It was a blessing.
I could listen to Mr. (Dr.?) Meyer for days. I soaked up this lecture … and, as I did yesterday to acquire Whitney Webb’s book, I shall head back to my local library and request these books he recommends – immediately!

Humanity lives thru a hierarchical structure just like the material earth does. It is easy to outswim a shark, don’t get in the water in the first place but try outrunning those pencil pushing busybody economists even with golden hearts? (LOL)
