“It’s hard to separate just the body, just the physical because we are very complicated beings…. We are spirit, we are physical, we are soul, so you can’t really touch on one without touching on all of them.” ~ Nancy O’Brien
By Corey Lynn and James White
The rapidly changing landscape of today’s modern health care systems, coupled with the increased availability of online health information, has encouraged more and more people to look for ways to manage their own health without doctors and, in some cases, without prescription medications. Regardless of how one arrives at where they want to be in this endeavor, many people will, undoubtedly, be exposed to the practice of holistic health at some point in their journey.
Our guest for this edition of the Solution Series, Nancy O’Brien, spent years as a holistic practitioner and is very skilled and knowledgeable concerning the holistic medicine approach. Essentially, a holistic approach to treatment involves the whole body and focuses on prevention of disease by incorporating the mind, body, and spirit for healing. Unlike conventional medicine, which treats symptoms, the holistic approach looks for the root of the problem and works to remove the underlying causes of disease.
Many of the methods to begin to take back your health are quite simple, including steps like reading food labels; as Nancy says, “we need to take the responsibility for our own health and that would even include at the health food store.”
If you, like many others, are starting to lose faith in modern medicine and are looking for an alternative, then this edition of the Solution Series is for you. Make sure to have a pen and notepad at the ready because Nancy gives our audience plenty of great resources to explore. Here’s to your health!
Money & Markets
In Money & Markets this week, John Titus and Catherine will cover the latest events and continue to discuss the financial and geopolitical trends Solari is tracking in 2022. Post questions at the Money & Markets commentary here.
Corey, thanks for the series. Interesting talk with Nancy O’Brien, but while you & James came in loud & clear, your guest was difficult to make out because of her muffled audio. Might I suggest future guests wear earbuds with a microphone closer to their mouth (as opposed to using the microphone on their laptop)? Keep up the good work in the New Year.
Excellent, well balanced discussion. Thanks to the three of you for the healing knowledge you provide to our world.
Where on the website do I access the letter forms to submit to gov reg to urge them to promote withdrawal from WHO

I sent my WHO letter in to the congressmen and senators. I just had to send it to more.
I also went to my bank and credit union today and left the CBDC template letter for them. It felt soooo good to do these tasks!! Thank you Catherine and crew for these letters. They were well composed and easy to insert my information and more if I wanted to.
And for Oregano – Oil of Oregano – great for infections and candida.
Did you miss Milk Thistle on the 2nd list – incredible for the liver?

Vitamin D supplements are NOT good to take as per the latest data from natural doctors.
This is why I have a sperti sun lamp plus an infrared lamp.
Catherine,
Can you recommend what infrared lamp you use, please, thanks.
The audio report for download is from the previous week for bountiful food. Please update the audio report to the one for the interview with Nancy O’Brien.
Deepest apologies, Tim. The audio for listening were good. Downloads were incorrect. They are now fixed.
No worries. Thanks Catherine!
Magnesium, yes most are low…..Look into Epsom’s Salt, the body will absorb it if we put it in our bath water or mix it in water and put it on our skin. I keep a bottle and sprinkle it on my neck and arms. Dr Bosworth MD talks about finding the businesses that do high level Magnesium Baths. She highly recommends it.
What we put in our mind and body are so so important. Cory and Jim this series is needed big time.
Cory, any of us can change what we eat no matter what age we are. I started in a big way at age 63-64, now 67. Lost 43lbs, reversed my pre diabetes, no meds. Totally changed what I eat. Totally changed to 99.9 % animal diet. Pretty much zero carbs for over 2 yrs. Weight stable for over 2.5 yrs. Every yr I get more healthy, blood work and how I feel.
Vit D is good but how to reduce inflammation in a big big way is cut the carbs. Fast fuel ie carbs and alcohol drive inflammation. It drives insulin response which is the big hammer to the body. It is just physics. We only have 3-5 grams of glucose in the total blood sys. Think about carb count of grains and fruit and high carb veggies????? It is all fuel. If the muscles and fat cells are already full the energy has no place to go. There by the physics and hammer to jam that energy into where ever it can be jammed. Even to the point the fat cells leak.
Tanning bed has to have the right kind of bulbs. See vids by Dr Annette Bosworth MD. They do work. Most all of us need Vit D. Most of us older will need 5k to 10k. Get tested don’t assume. Ideal range by Dr William Davis MD 70, by Dr Paul Mason MD 100.
Cutting carbs is hell for the first month. How much we need to cut depends on how insulin resistant we are. Get your dr to test fasting insulin and get the book Why We Get Sick by Dr Ben Bikman use his level of Fasting insulin. My blood work says 25 is ok, no it is not.
A real simple thing to do, cut carbs and eat more meat for health. For the body and for mental health. See new info studies on meat and mental health by Dr Georgia Ede MD.
Dr Annette Bosworth MD has some great vids on the gut and gut wall, how to heal it. She has tons on low carb eating. Dr Westman MD and Amy Berger are some great low carb people for info.
One of the first books I read on the gut is Brain Maker by Dr Perlmutter MD, tells some things to take out eg all wheat grains, sugar and sweets. What to put in Ferments Milk Kefir, kombucha, and old way fermented veggies. I did this 7 yrs ago. Have not been sick in over 7 yrs. I had to give up fermented veggies because of lectins, but drink milk kefir and a few ozs of kombucha every day.
Yes Jim Oregano is the mac daddy. Would suggest all research oregano oil, it is such a powerful natural antibiotic. Note about oregano oil it can burn, coconut oil cuts the burn by 50% or more. I usually take one or two dropper full at a time with hot tea mixed with coconut oil. All should do their own research on how much to take. How it is rated percent Carvacrol. Example Zane has a min of 86% Vitacost brand 70%. Zane makes gel caps.
Seed oils and carbs drive heart problems and blood pressure. See Vids by Dr Paul Mason MD and Dr Annette Bosworth MD. Carbs drive water into blood and make it sticky see vids by Dr Annette Bosworth MD. See vids by Dr Mason MD on seed oils. They are oxidized and turn into oxidized LDL the bad stuff.
Jim Alzimers is now called type 3 diabetes. See vids by Dr Bosworth MD on brain. Dr Amen and Dr Ede also good sources
Cory since you have inflammation I hope you will get the book Why We Get Sick.
Sounds Wonderful! I am a fan of Nancy for sure. ; )
