  1. Catherine, your advice on saving or not saving for a wedding is brilliant. It reminds me of my wedding which took place in a foreign country, in a community where everyone contributed something, chairs for the guests, a wedding cake, a deejay, live folkloric dancers, alcohol, dry ice for the alcohol and food. Now all this did cost money, but it was peanuts compared to what it would have cost here in the States.

    I must say Catherine, the financial advice you often give, outside of stock market investments is so akin to what working class people like myself do all the time. For example, you are now pushing credit unions and I was like whoa…I have been with credit unions for over 15 years! It’s nice to see that you make suggestion on things I have already been doing, its just very affirming…thank you for what you do.

      I am not giving financial advice. I am walking through options. Everyone is different – what is good for you is not good for the next guy and without the specifics on each individual it is impossible to give advice. And I am not pushing credit unions. I am pushing WELL GOVERNED AND WELL MANGED institutions. Not all credit unions are well managed. What I am pushing is personal responsibility – and trying to get you the information for you to decide for yourself.

    One correction to your video. East Palestine is in eastern Ohio northwest of Pittsburgh. So it is not that far from West Virginia .

    Notable events preceding it are interesting. Most may know this by now, pardon if redundant.

    1. Netflix movie, White Noise staged in East Palestine featuring a train wreck and toxic event. Filmed 2019 but released shortly before the actual event. Saw the movie. It was mostly themed around Death and releasing fears of it. It was really odd. People from the town starred as extras in it. On an energetic level, one may wonder if this is seen as a form of pre-agreement to experiencing the actual event.

    2. Digital ID bracelets with QR codes given out to people in that area over the last few months free from the Fire Dept. There is local news footage of them presenting it to the residents. When watching the fire dept people talk, I find myself wondering what spell they are under.

    3. Language. I watched an engineer discuss what constitutes a “controlled burn” in regards to toxic substances and he said it would actually require burning within a contained space, like an engine does when it combusts fuel. Otherwise, it is an “uncontrolled burn”.

    I was going to end it here but something caught my eye at the end of that article. It was a quote from a resident (supposedly) saying that the people wouldn’t feel safe until they had FEMA housing. Odd thing to throw in.

    In conjunction with that idea, I was reading about mitigation grants on the Ohio state website and it made me think back to an interview with someone about one of the big dams and grants around the rivers leaving it. When rebuilding is done with grants the water rights are often acquired by grant holders. That’s a MAJOR amount of water over there.

    As far as grants and housing goes here is a quote from the website below, “incentivize adoption and enforcement of modern building codes”. I have to wonder, if an entire town could be deemed unsafe and have to rebuild with new zoning and smart buildings? I remember hearing that Blackrock was involved with the train line that crashed. If I felt like wasting my entire day, I could probably find a lot of connections there. I’d be curious to see what companies are tied to what disasters that required rebuilding, grants, and zoning. I have seeds to plant so I won’t be researching that.

    When an event happens and my husband thinks it’s just serendipity, I always say to wait two weeks and see what new laws are proposed or who buys stock/funds something in relation to the problem.

Just some comments from a retired Civil Engineer with a master’s degree, enough course work for a math degree, and over 50 years of engineering and environmental experience with consulting firms, construction contractors, and the Federal Government. Domestic and foreign projects such as industrial factories including steel and petrochemical facilities, infrastructure including the US Interstate Highway System and airports, commercial facilities including tall buildings and sport complexes, and environmental remediation of hazardous waste sites. I had the benefit of working on a multitude of special projects as the US evolved through the last half century.

    • Since the 1960s, corporate management slowing shifted from operation personnel and engineers to accountants and lawyers, and now mostly lawyers. Why? Operation personnel/engineers may improve company performance by say 5 to 20 percent, while accountants can have more financial impact with economic devices, and lawyers can win or save massive amounts money on legal issuers.
    • These corporate managers lost sight of how things work. They cut project engineering design fees, which only amount to about 4% of construction, operation and maintenance costs, but it is the engineering which determines what are to be the construction, operation and maintenance costs. The resulting higher costs never show up on accounting spread sheets and are not taken into consideration.
    • These first two items are now mute points, because very little is built in the US today. The US is frozen in the 1970s. I get nostalgic when walking through US airports or visiting my home town. Everything is the same. About 20 years ago, The American Society of Civil Engineers gave the US infrastructure a “D” on their annual report card. I don’t know what it is now, but it should be worse.
    • Throughout my 50 year career, I moved or ran from one position to another as the work dried up. I felt like Al Capp’s Joe Btfsplk, the world’s worst jinx, bringing disastrous misfortune to everyone around him. The fact was that US industry was contracting. There went the US smoke stack industry and jobs including engineering. For lack of engineering work, I know young engineers now working outside their profession. I finally found refuge with the Federal Government, but even Government jobs maybe in jeopardy, at least new jobs for young people.
    • In many ways, the US is beginning to head in the direction of Zimbabwe.
    • A side note on the East Palestine disaster. Who authorized the burn? In my experience, the EPA has a disaster response manager (It has been a long time and I don’t remember the official name.), who has complete authority and can overrule existing regulations and even logic. My experience is they are not always the sharpest knife in the drawer. The response manager may have given the order. Now who is going to be blamed?

His suggests to create a trust to protect my assets but has to be done out of state in Nevada Alaska Delaware BUT the costs are high to do that. So I would like to touch base w Ann . Contact info?

    There are certain individuals on this planet that will be very surprised to learn that the Sun has a very different agenda than they do. Hence, their attempts to block her rays from touching the Earth.

  17. John & Catherine, wondered if you read that AEROS may be behind some of the ” balloons”. It is a private company with a Ukrainian national, Igor Pasternak, as a partner. Interestingly, another partner is Adam Schiff, who had a top security clearance in the U.S. and has been associated with various and sundry activities counter productive to American interests. The path of some ” balloons ” directed over ” Red States ” gives one pause as to the data collecting during its mission.

  18. I wasn’t alive back then but I’m told that in 1968(?) the big “climate crisis” put forth by the powers that be was:

    Can anyone who lived through and remembers this proclamation corroborate this? To me, it seems the current climate change crisis narrative is the same thing.

  19. Hi Catherine, It was interesting when you spoke of the US syndicate. I think COVID, the war in Ukraine, drugs and illegal migrants pouring into our country is part of the plan. Gangs and criminals are flowing over our border like never before. The sidewalk tent encampments lining our city streets look like Calcutta and they are growing each day. We give $100 billion of our taxpayer money to Ukraine, while our homeless population and crime is sky rocketing. It appears organized crime is running the world. Biden is a pawn in the middle due to his ties to Ukraine and China and who knows what else. I believe many of these NGO’s transporting these migrants around the country are funded by the syndicate, made to look like a noble cause.

    The war in Ukraine is part of the plan to take our money, framing it as a noble cause, when it is anything but. I think it is money laundering. There is no talk of diplomacy, which leads me to believe they want to keep this going and kill as many people as possible, (depopulate) to do a land grab, as we have done since the founding of this country. Our tax dollars are supporting continuous wars that go on for decades.

    I have been thinking of leaving the country for a very long time. Do you have any recommendations of a country that has a good culture for expats. I love Europe and have also been to Central America which is beautiful and affordable. I am looking for a peaceful place that does not support the syndicate and has a nice culture and is affordable. Maybe you could give me some ideas. I think it is time to seriously make a plan. I thought about homesteading here, but maybe moving to another country is a better idea. What are your thoughts on this?

    1. Best to go where you have a critical mass of people who you are with, know you and watch your back. One place to start is to subscriber to International Living and read the detail of costs, health care, etc.

I also thought of trying out a homestead community here. Maybe a subscriber might know of one where I can stay for a while and see what it is like. I am not sure what to do. I have had so many moves in my life and I am getting tired!

  21. It’s been years since I first pointed out that the cost of all of deception to keep the government and the powers that be in control would exceed the benefit of that control. What is the control grid, except the extension of this deception? Digital currency adds to it and will overtake the control grid itself if it becomes common place, but for now, the Internet of things contributes so much data management burden to the system, that it can on its own, outrun our energy resources. Soros, and whoever is above him will eventually have to fire the smart, young “leaders” that made the bad decisions to enact a universal surveillance system. The quarry is some tiny fraction of all the surveillance information, most of which will be useless in practice. These are people who adhere to economics before anything else, so the Midianite thing may eventually overtake their current management scheme.

    1. Yes, I am hoping the energy burden contributes mightily to implosion. May be why some believe they are trying to hook us up to the grid to get energy generated from us.

    2. The #1 weakness in the automated control grid is its dependence on real-time signals for correlation of events and predictive analytics of future behavior. Like ChatGPT, it’s not intelligence but auto-complete, trying to predict “Next”, “Next”, “Next” based on historical patterns.
      The #1 way to increase cost in the control grid is to deny real-time signals for correlating event A to event B. Move from synchronous to asynchronous (partly offline) interactions. Download and read/watch offline. Batch and mix events so that cause and effect are non-obvious. Avoid just-in-time transactions and repeating behavior/location sequences that can teach algos to predict your “Next” actions.

  22. Reader’s note: John has his geography wrong. East Palestine is on the Ohio/Pennsylvania border. Pittsburgh is downwind by an hour from there. N. Lima is a tiny place probably no more than 30 miles to the NW. Lima is in western Ohio and is a much larger, industrialized city off I-75 that he may have gone through. Close downstream from E. Palestine on the Ohio River are water intakes for many, many cities. I am pretty sure the selection of burning was considered the lesser of evils versus letting large quantities of toxic liquids spread that way.

    Keep in mind, only local authorities, particularly firemen, who were probably volunteers, had the job of dealing with it. There wasn’t any help from Columbus or Washington DC. There was a much bigger US HAZMAT response when the tractor trailer full of Covid vaccines rolled over on I 77 in West Virginia during 2021.

    1. Yeah, you’re exactly right. Like I said, I’ve driven through Lima (where that local news story originated) plenty of times. And I’m right that Lima is 75 miles away from Palestine–on the western side of the state. However, I made two big mistakes:
      (1) North Lima is nowhere near Lima; it’s on the east side of the state; and
      (2) East Palestine is nowhere near Palestine; it’s on the east side of the state as well.
      This generated a third mistake:
      (3) while Lima is in fact 75 miles away from Palestine, North Lima is only 15 miles away from East Palestine.
      Ugh. So glad I moved out of the midwest. Aside from being warmer in the south (it’s 65 degrees in Raleigh today vs. 25 in Wolcottnam today), the geography is much less confusing imo.
      That said, the Ohio River is one of the more breathtaking sights I’ve come across in the U.S. (esp. where it meets the Kanawha River at the W.Va border), and the consideration you raise re spillage into the river is a valid one.

  26. Oxalates are a factor in the formation of kidney stones. Reading Toxic Superfoods, Sally K Norton, I was surprised by a list on page 110 of ingestible oxalate precursors. Included in that list was ethylene glycol. I don’t know why antifreeze might be in our food but I recall they put it in the Covid shots (polyethylene glycol). Norton doesn’t mention the shots and may be unaware of the connection. Her book discusses ways to reduce oxalates in the body: diet, lemons, calcium citrate, potassium citrate and magnesium.

    Gates and Buffett are building a $4 billion Natrium reactor in Kemmerer, Wyo. It’s a smaller reactor like those used in Navy submarines and uses a different type of fuel. They claim this is the future of nuclear energy. The federal government is paying half the cost. Gate’s company, Terra Power, is partnering with the federal government to develop a US controlled source of fuel. The reactor is expected to be running in seven years and to operate for 60. It’s expected to provide power to 250,000 homes. Kemmerer is a small town of 2,700, fairly close to Salt Lake City. The Natrium reactors are said to be faster to build, cheaper and safer. It’s cheaper to build because it’s built with less expensive concrete to contain the reactor.

  30. The Hirewire show today began with a very informative conversation about the Ohio toxic plume with our favorite OSHA work-safety specialists, Kristen Meghan Kelly & Tammy Clark. They said to save the HVAC filters in a plastic bag for evaluation/testing later of what kind of toxins they are dealing with, along with what type of masks, gloves, cleaning etc… would be important with this type of chemical exposure. So many things you never think about living in the US but should.

The above deleted twitter user was in his posts very vocal about the dangers of the toxins released there, called the incident a worse catastrophe than Chernobyl, predicted that the dioxin generated in the fire will wreak havoc in every living thing in the area and, through water, air and food chain, also far beyond for years to come. He called on the people in the immediately affected area to leave and to leave for good. He also voiced the suspicion that the fixation of the attention on balloons was a distraction from what he called the worst environmental disaster in decades.

Her 1st point using the “Harvard Dr” was that those bioweapons were needed by the elderly & their caregivers while stating that if someone had “natural immunity” from having had the bioweapon “virus” they wouldn’t need the bioweapon.   37. The town in question in the Ohio train derailment is only about 11 miles away. I live about 76 miles away in PA, and my chickens are doing okay. I have not noticed anything different, although I still have concerns about the air. I am “upstream” water wise, so I am not worried about that, but it will contaminate the Ohio river more, and end up in the Mississippi.

    1. That is good to hear your chickens are ok. I am wondering if its even true that they burned these toxic chemicals. Maybe they just said that to scare people to leave.

Charlotte, NC IRS stamped the return receipt with this (above). I knew the IRS was short staffed, but now JPMorgan is taking over the IRS offices? Thought you might have insight; Thanks.

    I truly appreciate the drive to expand and improve at Solari, but I’m disappointed to see the new up/down vote feature for individual comments. I find it cluttersome to the space and the mind, and reminsicent of all the techy bells/whistles of social media I left long ago. The comments stand well on their own, and there’s always been the option for someone to join in the conversation. That’s my vote.

    1. I am with you. We did an update, ended up with bells and whistles and now will take some time to prune this stuff.

      1. The “reply to” feature is very nice. I read from my phone and like being able to see what CAF is responding to. Often when CAF makes a short comment such as “I agree,” it’s difficult to figure out what post she is referring to.

A total of 15 personnel had symptoms and signs of ocular surface erosion at the average time from the accident to the onset of 10.2 ± 7.1 h; 4 personnel also had skin rash. These personnel included all 13 persons who already worked in the rooms when the accident occurred and continued for additional 4–6 h and 2 personnel who presented in the rooms 1–2 h after the accident and stayed for 2–3 h. Proximity and timing suggest CoronaVac correlation with the ocular and skin reactions. Cautions should be taken to avoid broken vials, spills, and aerosolization of CoronaVac during the vaccination.
