It’s ugly to say this, but the alternative to Trump is MUCH WORSE. If we allow the liberals to gain a popular claim to the high ground, we will witness the cessation of liberty, not within our lifetimes, but within two years. That will occur as the government attempts to call in firearms with a popular and bloody insurrection like has not been seen. This would endanger the very existence of the USA. If we want to have freedom and tranquility, we damned well better re-elect Trump as we continue to figure this out. Think what we’d already be in the midst of had he not won in 2016.
John:
I understand all of this.
BUT – the two choice centralization keeps persuading us we should support one pro centralization scheme after another on the theory that it is the lessor of two evils. The opportunity before us is to decentralize power. No sense waiting for either scheme to do that.
The Trump team plus deep state plus new tech is rolling out plans to bankrupt every small business and farm in America. So it is good if Trump does something better than the DEMs. However, I am not interested in superior slavery. So that means no sense waiting around for Trump and his team to save us. It aint going to happen. We each need to take action in our own lives, family and state and local area if we want to shift the tide.
If the vote was today, I would vote for Trump. But the Solari Report does not exist to lobby for candidates – I leave that to CNN-, but to try to build a map of what is happening.
Part of what is happening is to face the fact that the establishment has legitimate gripes about Trumps conduct and behavior and that Trump is also centralizing political and economic control. Trump did FASAB 56 and Mnuchin’s housing proposal is a permanent market destroyer.
If Trump had not won, we would be in a world of trouble. Which is what we are in – a world of trouble
Whatever happens, it will not be decided by who is President. It will be decided by the actions of millions of Americans and people around the world.

I come to praise Trump to prevent his being buried. It is NOT an ideological position, but a defense in depth. Between now and five years from now is a hugely significant time period for the country and for me personally. I have time for one-two plays in my life. So we buy overtime by re-electing him and repudiating much more of the Deep State by doing so. Like him or not, Trump has actually been change in the White House. He has opened doors that nobody since Lincoln has done, in terms of not following a script.
It is the bastards who daily wear down the presidency and the nation who must be resisted and overcome–not him and not US. We have only the option of Trump in the coming election. Search your soul and you will know it’s true. This time, it’s existential.
John:
Trumps risk is not losing the election – although anything can happen. His risk is that he loses the impeachment process. That he blows up enough and make enough enemies that the Old Line Wasps can pull the rug on him in the last phase of the Senate process and in the nomination process.
Catherine,
I recognize that and apprehend the impeachment process, now three years in age, as a political tactic of extreme desperation. So, progress has been made if the Deep State is so desperate. They are exposing themselves even as they attempt to demolish Trump. I consider this a good thing in the sense of Midianites in the Garden of Good and Evil.
If the old line wasps along with the Mormon mafia come against Pres, Trump it would blow up the Republican party
Either party could come apart at any time. As 38 Special said “Cantcha smell that smell?”
Just read a piece that I posted on why the Democratic donors are serious about running Clinton again. I don’t see it – they have lost too much money on her too many times. However, if the goal is to keep the civil war growing and the distraction rising while double down on the war machine, anything is possible. Hard to see how any society can survive with this much entrainment and focus on low learning metabolism distraction.
In a way, we do want the sun to set on two corrupt parties being the compass of our practical electoral options, but in an orderly way. Trump is the only radical who we have seen in the White House: the only one who actually was different. If he is re-elected, the 2024 elections will demand completely retooled platforms and candidates, regardless of party. The people are through with the genial hucksters of partisan rhetoric and Deep State malevolence.
Between Jedi, continuous steps to privatize, FASAB 56, and now the housing proposal looks to me like the Deep State is turtling on. What am I missing? Meantime, I pray you are right.
You and I go round and round about this, but I think both of our hearts are in the right place. It reminds me of the Lyndon Johnson character in The Right Stuff movie, when they were trying to get Mr. & Mrs. John Glenn into a Photo op while Johnson fumed in the limo–something to the effect of “He’s the best damned boy we got!”
Yes, we want the same thing. Every 4 years I watch wonderful people invest 100-1,000 hours on the Presidential elections – reading, debating, arguing, donating time, etc. That is thousands of staff years. Every time I think – what if that time was spent making home grown encryption for local small business, creating energy independence, tracking the sources and uses of government money in a place and using the data to switch greater contracting to the local area, switching the local foods to buy from local farmers and on and on. But then at the next Presidential campaign, it happens again. Add the money spent on the lottery and online gambling and narcotics – the waste is mind boggling for me.

Well, the French have dabbled in fusion for quite a long time, and as Click and Clack liked to say, “The French imitate no one–and no one imitates the French.” This type of project is government-scaled and accordingly maintains the hub-and-spoke central generation model. Truly not worth it. Unless it is instead viewed as a mini-CERN, which has potential as a portal and an interdimensional gold production facility. Think “Weird scenes inside the gold mine.”
For power generation on a less-centralized scale, Generation IV nuclear offers many advantages over the cited fusion one. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_IV_reactor
The vaunted but still elusive “Zero Point Energy” trumps all, but I am aware of no working examples. The cited item could have, like CERN, an intent to discover the secrets of Zero Point.
Sometimes I wonder if these are not dribbled out whenever the financial system looks like it is going to swoon.
