    Another great documentary recommendation with The Cleaners, however, I have a slightly different take on it.

    Though I am not supportive of social media, those companies are hiring these people to censor content, not just “protect” users. There is also a local Philippine cultural influence over which videos/images are scrubbed and which remain, subjectively speaking. My concern is that the process simply sanitizes reality, though of course there are certainly images and videos that need to be “cleaned.” The grey areas are where it’s most problematic.

    Two scenes in the documentary support this: 1) The painting of Trump in the nude was neither pornographic nor tasteless, but it was deleted. 2) One of the cleaners stated that the iconic Vietnam War photo of a nude young girl running with other children from a napalm blast would be deleted, based on the standards given to her.

    But I absolutely agree that the work they do is incredibly difficult and worth our prayers. But there are also many reasons why it is being done in the Philippines and not in the U.S. or other English-speaking developed nations.

    Why do the big donors want to legalise pedophilia? Once pedophilia is legalised it will become socially acceptable and thereby lose its power as a mechanism of blackmail and control a la Epstein.

    I was surprised to hear that there are gangs in Hickory Valley. Please take care!

    1. There have been gangs in the Hickory Valley are since I arrived in 1999 – same as in essentially every rural county and most lower middle class and lower class neighborhoods. This is why gun control is such a big issue. The gangs have guns. We have guns. If Michael Bloomberg and his pals had their way, the gangs would have guns and we would have no guns.

  3. Sorry to hear about your problems with the fuzz and the gang box vandalism. Loose wires in power feeds are great ways to start fires, and of course, once the emergency “services” break in, you can expect a thorough rummaging of the place, with probably some devices left behind, so a new broom to “sweep clean” would be advisable.

    Now, you talked about JP Morgan-Chase and its likely illicit profits, but a few breaths later were rhapsodizing over Pilot-Flying J. I’m sure the site level folks are the salt of the earth, and they are generally well-run, but there’s a bit of a stink around the company and its billionaire owner, whose brother is Tennessee’s governor. I’ll leave it to your research rather than attempt to summarize. Also last night, a Cleveland Browns (same owner as Flying J) player assaulted a Pittsburgh Steelers backup QB by pulling off his helmet and hitting him club-like in the head, perhaps the worst behavior I ever saw on a playing field. Both teams were fined $250,000, several players were suspended and it will be interesting to see what the NFL does, but it’s a huge, serious embarrassment all around.

    I would say of the world, in the words of the cook in the well-known Three Stooges plumbing farce where water came forth from the stove, “Dis thing’s done gone CRAZY!”

    2. OK, have to research which one is the best – Love, Pilot or Flying J. Actually, I was rhapsodizing about Dollie! Had not hear about the football scene. Wow. Am going to check that out.

      1. Since the time Romney was a young man the Mormon community always thought he would fulfill the prophecy.

        Maybe that is the reason he took the safe road on the 2nd and 3rd debates in 2012 thinking he was he had god on his side.

    I have a special request of you. I ask you to have a Solari subscriber interview of Rob Kirby. Since September 18 when the Repo market experienced a temporary rate spike the Federal Reserve has sprung into action in overt ways (perhaps covert as well). I would value highly learning as I always do from a conversation between you and Rob on that and related subjects and the potential implications.
