  1. Would you have the text or link to the piece you read by Sofia Smallstorm?

The link to “How to Find a Lawyer” by Matt Hale turns up with “The page you are looking for has disappeared into a black hole. We’re sorry, but it no longer works “. Is there perhaps another link to this article?

  2. I am so glad John Titus will be joining you on a regular basis. Will he be part of Tea Time at Lake Geneva?

Also, since you are often in the Netherlands, I am sure you have visited the Teukenhof Tulips. But since it was closed this Spring for the first time in its 71 year history, these pictures of the emply garden with no people are spectacular. The pictures my son took several year ago while there had so many people in them that you could hardly see the flower.

    Safe travels, Marilyn

      1. WOW. That is so beautiful. I have had a bouquet of tulips in my office all week.

    1. Good news! John just agreed to join Dr. Mark Skidmore and his wife at Lake Geneva. I asked Mark to host as I may not be able to make it back – if not, I can come in on monitor. We will email everyone this week to see if this works. Skidmore and Titus together will be an amazing conversation.

      1. Yes, that should be amazing! I have learned a lot already about the Feds from John’s website. In Dallas (TX) last month the Mayor has appointed a Committee to come up with a plan to get Dallas business community back to “normal”. The committee is lead by Richard W. Fisher the former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from April 2005 to 2015. I wish John would explain why the Feds member banks are designated “headquarters” for certain tasks and given different jobs. For example, Richmond is headquarters for IT department and I think Boston is headquarters for handing all the REPRO Mortgages. Interesting comments about taking files underground. I know for sure that under the recently built Dallas Federal Reserve Bank they have six to nine levels underground where essential people are taken in case of emergency.
Thank you for all you are doing and enjoy your summer and looking forward to Lake Geneva where my husband has lots of his old Scow Sailing buddies.

    1. November 3rd will make little difference other than if they can work up a civil war around it. Focus on long term controls in your state and county. This is why the Sheriff, the town council, what CHD and FTCLDF are doing – this is where the real action is. Spend as little time as possible watching the Biden-Trump show. Whoever wins, that faction will control the pork spigot – either way the pork spigot will steal from you. So you need to stop it from stealing from you by backing it up locally and backing up your congressman and senators as much as possible. It matters that the Republicans hold the senate because of gun control. Small business will be much better off if they can win the House back. Otherwise, this is a bottom up war as long as the central bankers print.

  3. Headline: PepsiCo announced it plans to rename [Aunt Jemima Syrup] and remove the image of the breakfast product that has been criticized as a racial stereotype. I guess there’s no chance of them naming it Uncle Tom’s Log Cabin Syrup. https://youtu.be/8wN4-JDgVUw

    1. People would be better off if they took the high fructose corn syrup out of it. It has not been real syrup for decades. Looks like poison to me.

      From their website:
INGREDIENTS: CORN SYRUP, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, WATER, CELLULOSE GUM, CARAMEL COLOR, SALT, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, SODIUM BENZOATE AND SORBIC ACID (PRESERVATIVES), SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE.

What a farce. There is not one, well maybe one, real/healthful ingredient. That would be water. Maybe salt. But, it probably has fluoride in it. Damn, the water too. Forget it.

It’s all about appearances. Let’s be politically correct as we poison the hell out of all who consume it.

      1. Just so everyone knows, Aunt Jemima is a fictitious marketing character, like Uncle Sam, Betty Crocker, the Fisk Tire boy and Speedy Alka-Seltzer. I guess Pepsico doesn’t want to have African-American models on their products. Odd..

        1. I am aware of that. I’m wondering what they will come up with as a replacement. Probably some creepy character to attract children.

  4. There will be a lot of chatter in the next few days about Juneteenth, so I thought everyone would like to bone up on the historical fact that this was actually the date of a postwar MILITARY ORDER to various areas of the state of Texas to abide by the civilian Chief Executive’s (Abraham Lincoln’s) order to desist in the claim on slaves (who were emancipated in 1862, while the war was underway), under penalty of arrest. So, what some may be celebrating is the US military’s intervention in domestic civil affairs. You know, the thing that all the fake-pious last week were apoplectically opposed to. The link, and a photo of the “Military Orders” are from left-leaning Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juneteenth

  5. I’ve heard of two incidents, in Nevada and Indiana, where posts would be made to HOA/neighborhood watch/social media website about “BLM protesters heading to our area, we need neighbors /esp. veterans/ to come armed to protect order.” I also saw two other such incidents in the news, eg. Idaho:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/protests-armed-white-vigilantes/2020/06/04/09e17610-a5bb-11ea-b619-3f9133bbb482_story.html

It seems ‘someone’ is trying to stir things up with an eye towards creating chaos.

Also a good read about ‘Fortress China’:

    https://nationalinterest.org/feature/fortress-china-what-could-happen-if-beijing-goes-bust-162554

“The China wave is receding fast, and what will remain is a smaller, more compact, less permeable country that neither welcomes the world in nor is eager to go abroad. Individual Chinese people, of course, will continue to be among the most mobile in the world, just as they were during the high Ming-era of the long sixteenth century. But the country will turn inward, seek to exclude foreign influences, and focus on stability over growth.”

Which is exactly what is happening. The recent outbreak in Beijing has been traced to a cutting board for imported salmon – prompting a boycott of imported meats and seafood.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-15/salmon-shunned-in-china-after-link-to-beijing-virus-outbreak

“The situation drove stocks of local pork producers up on Monday, with Jiangxi Zhengbang Technology Co. jumping as much as 8.6% and Wens Foodstuffs Group Co. climbing as much as 4.7%. The gains were likely fueled by expectations that demand for the [local] meat will rise as consumers shun [imported] seafood, said Ken Chen, an analyst with KGI Securities Co. in Shanghai.”

Just imagine if they had found the virus 50 cm to the side of the salmon cutting board, in a local food stall. Fortunately, since it’s an imported item, it’s a quick fix and an easy win-win.

The situation for foreigner-related businesses in China, such as international schools, is becoming very dire. The border may open October, which is too late for the cycle of expat families and students, since schools start August or September. Foreign companies are not paying tuition up front for their employee’s children due to the uncertainty, putting schools in a financial squeeze since they depend on projected tuition to decide their yearly budgets and make hiring decisions. Moreover, there are not enough teachers to go around. They are at about 40-50% capacity at this point, and likely will not fill up before the 20-21 school year. That means foreign companies will need to either convince their China managers to go to China alone and separate with their families, or will need to ask the families to send the kids to school mid-year or mid-semester. Those are tough sells for the HR departments I’m sure. Or they will need manage their China operations remotely, which is also problematic.

At a certain level, this may turn out to be a ‘be careful what you wish for’ situation, where China begins to close off the local market and manage their imports based on political expediency. They can also really dig in and make this situation last for a while. China may be dependent on imported commodities, but it’s independent for consumer goods. A “Buy Chinese” campaign is a lot easier to pull off than a “Buy American” campaign at this point – both from the supply side (who has the production capacity?), and the demand side (see the salmon situation; consumer demand can be adjusted based on import tariffs / political issues).

Steve Roach recently had an op-ed about a dollar crash, saying the dollar will decline in value by 35% within the next 1-2 years.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/15/dollar-crash-is-almost-inevitable-asia-expert-stephen-roach-warns.html

If we can get out of the BLM fog of war for a moment, is it time to seriously consider this situation Catherine? As they quoted a shopper in Beijing, “As long as you wear a face mask, it should be fine,” said a shopper, Song Weiming. “Anyway, I have to buy food, right?” In the end of the day, we have to eat.

I’m sure you have addressed this in previous reports, do you have any you could link? And what would be the effect of this, as well as how can people position themselves to absorb the crash?

We’re getting to a scary point in 4Q when the government cash will end and we will be on a tight rope with no safety net.

    Thank you.

    1. Yes, I have been following Roach. He lays out the bear case well. I very much appreciate all the links particularly Fortress China.

    2. I mean, as long as the Chinese can eat Happy Meal trinkets, they’re fine.

    1. Utterly and completely disgraceful. The city leadership is thoroughly committed to drive out or shut down every lawful small business in the city.

      1. I have no proof of paid trolls, but noticed on Nextdoor app any posts for reasonable city leadership is met with a barrage of anti-police, defund the police, bad police rhetoric – instantly.

  6. Just got report saying Pre-vaccine Covid testing will be required for my job (film and tv production). Don’t know what I can do. I can’t make a living in anything else.

    1. Lots of companies need production in this internet age. What specifically do you usually do? Dave Ramsey is hiring in Tennessee. HSN in Florida. Independent productions. Or push back.

    2. Julian – IF you have any entrepreneur in you (not meant to be a criticism) see how you can sell / train others or to bring a product or service to others. NOW is a great time to look around and WE are our best insurance policies for a steady income. Hope that you stay AWAY from the ‘vaccine’ (cuz it’s NOT a vaccine at all!)

      1. Thanks David, but every entrepreneurial idea I tried for 15 years failed. I couldn’t teach anyone how to succeed with a product or service.

  7. Someone spray painted a huge banner in black at the entrance to our tiny village stating: Black Lives Matter. The next day someone had painted over it in red: Soros.

Well, we’ll see what happens next.

    1. People are waking up BIG TIME! They (we) all have been hit right in the wallet … people that I didn’t think knew ANYTHING about ‘off topic items’ are now very well schooled.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

      Gives me hope ….

      1. The sign is completely gone today. Part of the fence is gone. I don’t know what it means but there it is.

I agree about the awakening. It seems a hit in the pocket book makes a big effect.

        Praying like never before!

  8. Nurse Blows The COVID Cover!

If you can or want to handle the truth behind COVID-19, take a look at this 24 minutes video. Inflated numbers and killing patients. She was on the front lines with hidden cameras. The Ultimate Medical Reality Show:

    https://youtu.be/uaSmvGce0Sg

    SCAM-demic

    Sickening and disgusting!!

    1. Yes. I posted her full video last week. She will be the hero this coming week.

  9. 2020 started with a clear shot at a good year, a strong economy and President Trump’s te-election a certainty. I didn’t see anything on the horizon that could shake that up.

    Didn’t think they’d start a germ warfare.

    And so many things affected:

Pandemic – clearly this is not and no worse than a flu.
PLANdemic – clearly this was a pre-planned, man made event.
SCAMdemic – people being scammed with this fraud.
CONSOLI-demic – With SO MANY businesses failing, the larger big box companies will reap the rewards in future business. (Same thing has been happening with banks in the last 30 years)’
MEDI-demic – hospitals being paid $39,000 to ‘vent’ a patient vs $4,000 for simple pneumonia. How many people were vented who didn’t need to be and who died (medically murdered).
POLI-demic – will increase the power of the government.

The 3 months shutdown just prior to the BLM protests was a perfect combination to supercharge ‘social change’.

These guys are evil but they sure are clever.

Stepping up my level of prayers & staying focused on living a free and inspired life!!
