  1. Catherine…made the mistake of trying to accompany someone to the City of Temecula in California while they had a business meeting, and as it was later; we needed a hotel room. Was asked by 3 Hotels for our “papers” in order to get a room!…evidently, they do not consider building and contracting as an “essential” reason to be there. We had no idea what they were talking about, but they soon let us know that had we been with a “government” job or in the medical field; we would have been given a special ID to admit us to a hotel. Didn’t the Jews need “papers” to go about during the Third Reich? The whole thing was terrifying! Our governor has us locked up until June 19th; and I have reason to believe that it will continue after that. We have next to no people in the hospitals with anything at all, that I know of. Your advice that you gave to all with this weeks’s Money and Markets was invaluable. We are all planning our escape. Blessings to you from the trenches, which we are in indeed!

If you can find a county with a good sheriff in a state with low debt, high funding of pension funds, a high % of gun ownership, lots of farm land and water and a commitment to religious freedom. The reason I moved to the Bible Belt in 2000 is that Christians try to embrace the 10 commandments and reject the mark of the beast. Lets hope our faith can beat the mind controll.

  3. My wife and I recently read two great books recommended by Solari – Family Wealth by James Hughes and The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis. At the end of The Screwtape Letters, I found C.S. Lewis’s Space Trilogy which has as its 3rd book, That Hideous Strength.
    That Hideous Strength, written in 1945, has everything we have been dealing with at Solari – Technocracy, Deep State Tactics, an off-world control system and the Midianites. Appros po and great read.

    Sharing the following (especially the April 25 German article below) in case any of the developments are new to you… things appear to be happening quickly.

    I am not sure what it all means, but it can’t be good. Sounds like BlackRock (no matter the outcome of the plandemic) is charge of all future acquisitions and trade?

    Meanwhile I’ve heard that some Reddit (Q?) threads are saying Trump is now in charge of the Fed. Good grief.

    He then mentions Blackrock CEO Larry Fink speaking of “big opportunities” and how for Germany that means that major German companies will fall into the hands of the Blackrock Empire for next to no money… he quotes from Fink’s letter to the shareholders:

    1. The US Government did not take over the Fed. The Fed brought Blackrock in to help with the Bond portfolio. The Fed is owned by the people who control JP Morgan and Goldman who also control Blackrock. No doubt they want to put their liabilities on to the Treasury before the Cut and Run is over.     I realise that each person’s situation is different, but as a general rule of thumb would you say that in a situation where one expects high price inflation and wage deflation and where interest rates are incredibly low that it would be a good idea to take some money from savings and use it to pay in advance some expenses one is sure to have in the future such as insurance premia, internet, utilities and other fees before they all go up?

    1. It is going to be hunt and peck as to whether pre-payment makes sense.
      If it is an individual who lives near you who you think has integrity – always.
      If it is an institution that you think will be here in 1-2 years – most likely.
      If it is local food farmer, rancher or supplier who has integrity – always.
      Some businesses will not be around, so no sense having a credit that becomes worthless.

  7. Hi Catherine, first time I’ve posted a comment so I have to say I love all information you provide, it’s been invaluable.

  8. The treatment of our elderly in homes is diabolical.
    They have been locked up and separated from family visits for about 5 weeks now. Some have spent 1 week in isolation when the temperature was above 37.5C sometimes more than once.

    Now the whole home is tested for COVID-17, elderly + all personnel. Some elderly tested positive and now again are placed in isolation this time for 14 days! They see a packaged astronaut 1/2 hour daily and have to wear masks themselves during contact.

    It frustrates me to no end. The bizarre thing is about all my colleagues drank the cool aide and I have to be careful in what I say and do. Professionalism and plain common sense are thrown out the door. It is all about me,me,me and not getting infected.

    If personnel is tested positive they don’t go in quarantine but expected to stay working with clothing restrictions of course so not to infect others = always wearing masks. Can you imagine how work relations are now between so-called infected and non-infected personnel!

    Luckily, the testing is not mandatory and I opted out. Hardly anybody knows it is not mandatory and that is certainly not promoted. On the other hand, I don’t think many would want to opt-out. I know only of one other who did so.

    The so-called courage and selflessness of nurses and such is frankly a rarity and mostly an illusion. I am more ashamed than anything else.

        I am a loner and usually, that doesn’t bother me. I understand why the current distancing isn’t working but haven’t found a creative way to get around it yet. Simply put there is a difference between distancing and being cut off any energetic interactions with other human beings. The borg drones from work aren’t very human anymore and drain every ounce of energy they can get their hands on.

        Luckily, I have a good relationship with nature in gardening.

    You know how you always say people in a rigged game get stupid.

    With all this social distancing and media pundits having to video chat from home, the Hollywood magic is not working with out all the lights. Two great examples, Bill Maher’s interview with Crenshaw. Crenshaw ate him for lunch with facts. Bill’s face was so stunned because the turd didn’t have his producer and audience to back him up. He didn’t know what to do.

    2nd is Pelosi on a late night show eating $13 pint ice cream out of a $24k refrigerator. The level of obtuse is off the charts. Every time I see these things your voice chimes in my ear, “people in a rigged game get stupid.” lol

    I don’t watch much TV but when I do, I’m stunned by all the social distancing and Covid commercials. From the every beginning they aired them. I did a quick search on the production time for a TV commercial. It takes a minimum of a month to produce one 3 min commercial. Here’s the thing, we’ve been in lockdown for a month, so how did all these commercials get produced….?

    1. They have been doing the planning for this for decades and testing and improving with every plandemic. Remember, there has been on every 100 years for many centuries and then one every 2 years since 2008 after one in 2004. Invisible viruses have been working better than invisible terrorists from the Middle East.

In spite of the breathless media reports of “Oil drops below $0,” (the April settlement price was negative ~$3 or so, indicating a discount to the spot price for any who could take delivery), I think oil will continue to deteriorate to below $10 per barrel and remain there for at least a couple of years, as economic recovery will be beset with permanent job eliminations and a certain amount of workforce displacement, even with the reshoring of manufacturing that has been promised.

    I think “green energy” is even more negative, as it will continue to be overpriced. Food prices have been higher, but these should be mitigated by a replacement of biofuels agriculture with foodstuffs production. Remember that although the former replaced the latter to some extent, it simultaneously added to the total cultivated acreage and the natural response should be to revert to traditional crops. This should make agriculture and food industry employment open up for those willing to actually work for a living. It should also be an opportunity for the local food supply in what were once known as “cash crops.”

    The astounding success of replacing in-person meeting with Zoom and the like will be permanent and a lot of simple office jobs will disappear. This can be expected to pressure urban real estate values and allied businesses. Fundamentally, recovery will require fundamentals and many will be forced from their expectation of workplace recreation and leisure to taking jobs to feed themselves. As it should be. The question remains, as you noted last week, “Where to stash your cash?” assuming you still have cash to flash.

I think China realized it’s a lot easier for them to decouple from the US than vice versa. what’s the point of going through all the trouble of producing something for export, and then seeing a US corp mark it up 30-3000% for sale in the US market, and pocketing all those profits with a fraction of the work?

          in the end there are trillions of dollars worth of investment within China, not to mention the human capital and logistics system to make it all run. it’s extremely difficultand costly for both sides to replace that. you can move shoe factories or small scale assemblies out, but heavy industry stuff like machinery, parts, and complicated products like pharmaceuticals, computers, airplanes etc. is very difficult to do. like you said, we are like Siamese twins.

          1. Yes. There are many possible scenarios on how this goes. Question is whether they fundamentally productive in both societies can ally to use the forward motion to remove as many psychopaths and criminals as possible.

Andrezj, it’s a fair point to make, however basically any time you use the internet, including being around your phone, walking past “security” cameras, driving your car with OnStar, etc., your security is compromised. It’s difficult to obtain privacy anymore, and there is now technology to fake your actions in order to compromise you, should that be necessary. The Chinese have less interest in you or me than does our so-called “friendly” government. It’s a shame, but I’m afraid it’s true.

        1. that’s definitely true. I see zoom being gutted and all the work conferences being moved to another more US-centric platform such as Microsoft whateveritscalled. our choice is who do we want to spy on us, I guess.

          if you can run voice recognition AI algorithms on the business conferences that the world is having, the insider trading information would be incredible. as individuals we are pretty worthless. but if ideas can be poached, things brought to market faster than the competition, and business trends analyzed before they emerge on the news, you can start to beat the market. eg. you scan the conferences for key positive or negative words and you can get a business sentiment report immediately rather than waiting for surveys etc. you could focus in on specific industries based on IP addresses or topics discussed, and know exactly what everyone is up to. it’s like a crystal ball.

          for that reason, i don’t see zoom staying alive in the US due to their ownership and software development background.

          I believe Robert Spalding said data was a national security concern. that’s a huge data treasure trove.

    1. Yes, just posted Joseph’s post on this. Looks like the virus or viruses we are dealing with were financial and, I assume, launched with Fauci’s help. Problem and solution. One team managing both sides. What I can not figure out is at what micro level they can turn the illness on and off.

  18. you’re definitely right about the food issues we will face not only in US but also worldwide. besides the big news stuff there have been hundreds of millions of small disruptions all over the global supply and production chains that will add up in the aggregate. the small farm which delayed their start in the spring, the factory which didn’t get a shipment of a key input, the small producers who scaled down production as the orders dried up. in SE Asia the European food imports are starting to run low on the shelves. the small bakeries no longer stock fresh bread because there is no foot traffic in malls – so it means somebody has stopped baking. lots of transportation restrictions everywhere; borders closed to truck traffic, truck drivers hesitant to travel during a virus situation. and it can’t be brought back to normal so fast. there will be a time lag.

    I think the main pressure to restart China was not only for the factories, but so people could get to the fields and start the spring planting season. a good time to introduce beyond meat!

    I have heard that there are shortages of staples in US grocery stores, is this true? why is this happening in one of the largest breadbaskets in the world?

    1. I have heard only a few reports of shortages of staples. Lots of reports of thinner inventory. It is coming.

    I don’t understand what happened in the oil market. I heard Patrick Wood’s latest podcast and his comments were they are crashing the oil markets to move in the new sustainable development initiatives. By bringing oil to zero wouldn’t that make oil more excessive?

    1. In the short run, it is more plentiful so more people will use. However you bankrupt the infrastructure – producers, pipelines, storage, refineries, shipping – which then significantly downsizes capacity.

    I just saw this interview with Dr. Rashid Buttar who puts forth a theory that the “social distancing” rule of staying 6 feet away from others is so that Mr. Global can more accurately GPS track everyone. Starting at 24 min 30 sec into the video, Dr. Buttar recounts his experience in the U.S. Military when he served with the 5th Special Forces Division as a doctor, where they tracked soldiers behind enemy lines, but if the soldier got within 6 feet of another human being, the GPS could not accurately pinpoint the soldier (he gets to this point at about 27 min into the video).       1. Never have I been slapped in the face so hard that your neighbors matter. Living in the Silicon Valley North, it is clear that it will be neighbors (not just old ladies in tennis shoes) enforcing the lockdown. The fear is palpable and people are taking shelter in the comfort of virtue signaling. It is clear it’s time to clear out. But everyone really needs to “KNOW” your neighbors/neighborhood. Anne Frank wouldn’t stand a chance here.

        2. This was one of the reasons I flew outta there like a bat out of hell. I’m terrified to go back, but may need to in order to bring in an income of some kind.

          Some of the people I know and love there seem almost enamoured of the rules, and are clearly getting a gratification in following the rules and doing exactly as they’re told and being horrified when others don’t.

          It’s scary. I decamped to Southwest Utah and, although many things are closed, it’s a paradise compared with the Bay Area right now. You see the writing on the wall. I am very afraid of CA right now. If you can leave, even temporarily—the grass really IS greener in some other places.

    1. Very interesting. It has long been rumored that the Israelis have a backdoor into Microsoft. If that is the case, it would logicalyl be through their partnership with 5 Eyes and NSA. There have been a number of TIs that claim Amazon has a TI targeting system in Seattle. If that is true, it is likely a prototype for a wider control system. Hard to get serious evidence on these allegations. My understanding of what Netanyahu is saying in his speeches, is his goal is all digital systems are centralized into Tel Aviv. Sounds to me like he wants a backdoor into all things digital. Question is whether the US military and intelligence would permit it and whether the leadership in the City of London want that.

  25. Daniel Liszt reports that “43,000 millionaires got stimulus checks averaging $1.6 MM apiece.” Can you confirm this? Unsurprisingly, not a single person that I know has received as much as $0.01 of relief. Clearly there is something else within the “qualification” system besides being a legal citizen and a taxpayer. All I can say is “I’m shocked!”

      2. We got our payroll grant on Monday. Our bank (the last locally owned bank in our county) had 450 applicants. They were able to process 300 applications. Thank the Lord, we were one of them. We only had to produce 4 qtrs of Payroll tax returns. I have a friend who is a bank manager at another bank. Her husband is in the construction industry like us and she is asking ME if my bank is taking any more applications. She said that other banks are now asking for so much more documentation to cover themselves in case of an audit. I hear that our bank will be doing round two of PPP, but now will require more paperwork.

          Would love to know what the terms and conditions are that come with the payroll grants. Or to look at the form of contract. My feedback is the locally owned banks are the ones that were able to perform well for real small business.
