    1. Thanks for that, David. It shows us what can really be going on from behind the scenes, and it has me wondering how often even the outcome of the state propositions that we vote on can be hacked and altered to benefit the powerful special interest groups.

  1. Catherine,

Have you ever seen those boxing or wrestling matches where just before the match begins the announcer shouts into the microphone, “LETS GET TO RUMBBLLLEEE….” ding ding ding…!?

    It is a death match!

That’s what 24 hours after the elections feels like. Everyone has come out fists up ready to duke it out. Firings, shootings, recounting votes, fires, 900 protests in 24 hours, and elderly Supreme Court justice “falls” and breaks her ribs…. The election was Tuesday and its Friday afternoon! Now I’m watching an urgent US-China press conference with Mattis, Pompeo and Chinese leadership.

I don’t know what I’m going to tell my nephews when they become adults. It’s is a crazy moment in history.

Justice Ginsberg should be grateful she didn’t meet the same fate as Justice Scalia. If it was the other side she would have been worm food…

      1. I saw.

        It’s really stupid.

NYC’s culture really died after 9/11. My friends and I complain about it all the time.

  2. I understand that New York wants to allow 16 year olds to vote. Since they are all being taught the “socialist” doctrine in high schools these days, and the “communist” doctrine in the colleges; it is no surprise that the libbies will gain voters. Add that to the social unrest right now, the shootings, and the utter stupidity of most of the Congress; and you will not see any let up to the persecution of Trump; although some of your readers think it will die down. These may be interesting times that we live in, but they will be dangerous. Never did the Republicans ever persecute Obama with the utter hatred being used against the sitting president. We may have disliked him, but never to the point where all conservatives are being followed , threatened with death, and their houses broken into, like what happened to Tucker Carlson (Fox Host)last night. A mob literally broke his front door, and threatened his family. I doubt, on this basis; that any thing will calm down in the political scene until this “mob” mentality is stopped. Sad days, Catherine!

  3. Ask Katherine:

One of my best friends and Mentors just lost his home in Paradise California and like many barely got out with his life, and he is in his 80’s.

My question is, “What does Mr. Globaloni want with the rural foothills of the Sierras, or do you think they are just trying to empty all of Northern California?”

Oh, and early this morning his wife had posted a “red alert” for the area along with a notice saying PGE and was going to turn off the power in Paradise in case of a fire, but it hadn’t started yet (at least not that anyone knew).

I realize that sometimes things are just coincidences but I saw one man interviewed saying something like “they had already turned the power off, so we couldn’t get water out of the well to fight the fire and we couldn’t get any information on the news about what was happening either because we had no power.”

I thought that was interesting – any thoughts?

Melodi in Ireland (but a California native)

    1. HI -I just e-mailed you a copy of the notice my friend’s wife placed on facebook a few hours before the fire started (I saw your tweet)

It is a JPeg image so can’t post here – I gather PG&E says the power wasn’t actually cut off by I heard interviews with folks who said it was – my friend’s wife wasn’t at home but visiting Fresno and posted it to her Facebook page because she was worried about her husband. Hope that helps – Melodi

  4. Let us not hang the crepe so sorrily after the elections. The donkey has gained a slight majority in the house and worsened its deficit in the senate. In the undecided races, totaling 22, R leads D by 14-6 in current counts. This predicts a 228-207 majority for the senescent Nancy Pelosi. With such a slight congressional margin, some bipartisan cooperation will be required. This doesn’t necessarily solve our problems, but it’s not the end of the world, either. Stay tuned for that and work to hold it off.

“I cried because I had no shoes and then I saw a man who had no feet.”

    1. Agreed. Problem is that the Democrats will run an investigative machinery in the House that will protect the financial coup players. Way it is.

      1. Yes, there is that threat, but there are those 50,000 indictments that could be unsealed, so wouldn’t the net be a standoff of sorts? Maybe I’m just an incurable optimist, despite the high dosage of antidote I have been getting.

        1. With the Democrats regaining the house, the process of proceeding with the indictments will be quieter. More on Money & Markets.

          1. In a way, quieter might be better. I think the public can be overdosed with too much sausage factory, just like too much deception. We often speak of higher-mindedness and some portion of that is a fruit of gentility and an emphasis on the delights of the product at the expense of highlighting the hard work that underlies its production.

          2. We are going to have to continue to build our own bubbles and ignore the shriek-o-meter. New York was shocking – it looks and feels like it is following San Francisco into the toilet – too many masters of the universe pumping and dumping real estate and company stocks – and indifferent to the joy of doing a great job at the underlying business. Everything is a trade, a scam, an op. The wear and tear of this kind of culture on the people trying to get the work done is horrible to see. The shock of coming from Switzerland to NY was serious. The difference between a Swiss hotel and a NY hotel run by pump and dump real estate magnets is like a slide from heaven into a city shelter.

          3. The thing that concerns me is not a bad hotel stay. What concerns me is how are we to achieve greatness or excellence if everything is corrupt and mind controlled. The majority of the inspiration is downward. Creating a health culture through this is job 1.

          4. Oh that’s nice! It was great having lunch with you !

I’ve thought about this, NYC works because the people make it work. Everything is falling apart but we still hustle. The mind control is heavy but it’s not as dangerous as it was in 2016.

The levees are breaking and good bad or ugly we’ll pick it up, clean it up, and come up with something better. The chairman of the MTA just resigned today. I wonder what that was about.

          5. Yes, that is what has always made NY….talent from all around the world. Have you seen the broadway show Hamilton? One of the great lines…”Immigrants, we get the job done!”

          6. Well, I think you are doing the right thing in assembling the society you are—people who have a vision of a return to the purity of human consciousness uncontaminated by a profit motive. We—all of us—were raised to get on the treadmill and keep it going for our share of the ensuing gains. What we didn’t notice is that lots of people have been taking the gains while doing nothing—a side-effect of general prosperity. A new generation has been trained to do nothing while others produce. Obviously that runs down quickly. Soon, the mill slows to a stop. That’s what the tribulations are born of. Your society could be what Asimov’s Foundation was: the place to hold the original, pure ethic, so that when the tribulations end and the artifices are swept away, there is a return to Eden. That’s actually how I envisioned Earth this morning—Eden. We’re going through the fall from grace now, so anxious are we to be as gods.

          7. Rappoport has a wonderful audio that I love called the Age of Merlin and describes during a transition from the “age of magic” to the age of centralized production, Merlin hid the culture inside the myth of Camelot so it would be able to reemerge when the world was ready.

          8. Will look up and listen to The Age of Merlin. Sounds like I was saying about Saruman The White: Industrialized warfare. We are often persuaded that automation and industrialization is the key to efficiency, which itself is given as Godlike. Again, I think efficiency is in the 8th sphere: taking the humanity out of the processes that humans undertake. The weaponization of everything is the apotheosis of efficiency, when you think about it.

Businesses often tout Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, which is brilliant, but again, war and art would seem at opposite poles. Perhaps we should pause and consider which culture has produced this work and use it to imagine what our geopolitical challenges will soon become.

    2. I take it as a very bad sign that there are still enough mind controlled citizens in this country that they would elect a dem house majority. Pelosi will see it as confirmation that her tactics work, and she will push it to 11. Investigiations, voter fraud, mobs, intimidation. And don’t forget that we haven’t had a budget for 10 years. I’m equally sick with Paul Ryan who sat on the power of the purse and didn’t do enough to rein in the lawlessness.

I was hoping we had 2 more years, or 6, until the troubles, but now I’m not so sure. Sure hope the God Emporer has a plan.

  5. I voted and I didn’t feel good about it.

My district was a mess. My district was moved to another location even though online it says the place I went to. Cuomo Is at the top of the ticket and even though the Republican candidate is making headway I voted for the Libertarian candidate Larry Sharpe. We have to break out of this left/right paradigm at some point.

I didn’t know anything about the other republican candidates but voted for them anyway. At the end, some posts had only one candidate and I felt like I was in communist China. I refuse to vote democrat so I left it empty.

I felt sad when leaving because people died thinking they are protecting our democracy.

    This is our republic.

    1. Had to Fed Ex my absentee Ballot from Switzerland to get it in. Even voted for Marsha Blackburn – a vote against Chuck Schumer for Majority leader. Yes, process was depressing. Lets see how it turns out….

      1. Last night stunk to hog heaven…..

They were definitely not as sloppy as 2016.

I guess keep trucking on. Onwards and upwards.

I have to say it must take a great will to be in this kind of fight.
        A great will.

  6. – Two Americas –

I’m writing this the night before elections. Clearly there are TWO Americas. One of the America’s believes in law, our Constitution & our country. The other America believes (truly believes) what they hear on NPR & CNN et al. For them, Fake News is reality, Trump is a Nazi and everything bad comes from Republicans. Facts don’t seem to matter.

The boundaries are being redefined. Lots of Red Pill awakenings. Lots of propaganda too. The divide is very deep … hoping that we heal.

We do live in interesting times …
