Catherine,
I think Trump i listening to you and Joseph…
Today’s press conference with May when asked about Brexit, Trump sited the destruction of culture as a leading cause for anti-immigration sentiments in the UK and across Europe. If he is it would be such a blessing.
Wow, how the mainstream media is going full force against Trump and Russia leading up to the Putin meeting. Brutal is putting it nicely and Rosenstein’s indictments of “12 Russian intels” is just absurd. The insanity really does take my breath away…
I forgot to include the British media. BBC is awful with their anti Trump reporting.
God, I would love to be a fly on the wall at tea service with Trump and the Queen….
The 12 Russian intels is pretty brazen. The President has good reason to fire them all.
Question for Catherine – I’ve been listening to older Solari Reports and just listen to the one on The Oil Card where the author mentions in 2010 that the reason the US was saber rattling with Iran was that the Chinese were making progress on negotiations with Iran over buying their oil and their oil industry? At that time the author felt war would not happen and it did not.
However, my question is; do you feel the renewed threats of war/intervention in Iran by the USA now in 2018 are also being caused directly or indirectly by continued or renewed Chinese involvement in Iran’s Oil Sector or is there now something else going on?
Thank you for your consideration of this, I couldn’t find and “ask Catherine” area this week.

You can e-mail questions to Ask Catherine, or post in the Money & Markets commentary or post in Subscriber Input by wed night and I should find them. IMO Iran is a combination of factors, one of which is indeed the rise of Chinese hegemony along the silk road.
Thank you, that answers that question and now I know I can e-mail them before Wed night – Melodi
