Elana Freeland’s new book, Geoengineered Transhumanism: How the Environment Has Been Weaponized by Chemicals, Electromagnetism & Nanotechnology for Synthetic Biology, is her third book in a trilogy on the convergence of our natural environment and all living things with digital and invisible technologies to create highly synthetic infrastructure that can be both weaponized and controlled. Freeland is a generalist. Her undergraduate degree was in creative writing with a minor in biology. Her graduate degree focused on historiography. A fearless thinker and researcher, she began early on to try to understand many of the unanswered questions about life on Planet Earth. Among other things, this led her to cooperate with Clifford Carnicom in an investigation of the beyond-bizarre parasitic life forms that cause Morgellons disease.
Freeland is also one of those all-too-rare researchers willing to research and integrate across many different areas of science, politics, and economics. Consequently, she offers insights in time for us to do something about what is happening, including protecting ourselves and those we love. If we were to wait for a thousand different subspecialties to connect the dots in peer-reviewed journals and academia, we would all drown when the Titanic hit the iceberg, still waiting for the insight based on estimates and probabilities (imperfect though they might be) that “maybe” it would be a good idea to turn in time.
In Geoengineered Transhumanism, Freeland reviews the different ways in which the human species is being reengineered on an involuntary basis. She introduces what she calls the “three primary transhumanist delivery systems”: spraying (“The Chemical Aerosol Soup”), food (“GMO Frankenfoods”) and vaccines (“The Medical Industry’s Third Rail”). Much of what she describes is a major portion of what I call “the great poisoning.” She also covers many technologies and aspects of building out a transhumanist control grid, including nanotechnology, 5G, satellites and surveillance technology, smart cities, and synthetic biology.
Albert Einstein once said that “technological progress is like an axe in the hands of a pathological criminal.” Unfortunately, we are living through a tsunami of runaway applications of technology, including for warfare and control. Whether or not we will make it through this period is a serious question. Of one thing I am confident, however: You and I have a better chance if we understand what is happening in our physical and energetic environment—from the air we breathe and the food we eat to the advanced and invisible technologies and weaponry driving global politics and the financial markets.
For many years I have said, “It just keeps getting weirder.” In her new book, Freeland attempts to create a framework to help us unpack a lot of that weirdness. It is a near-impossible task she has undertaken, and she deserves our thanks, appreciation, and support.
