I was listening to a program over the weekend that referenced a gold-backed local currency, “Goldbacks”
It’s an interesting idea, however It appears most people are treating them as collectables and not a potential solution. I’m curious to learn if Catherine has done any research on Goldbacks?
https://www.goldback.com/
I don’t know what Catherine’s view of Goldbacks is, but I learned from someone in the precious metals business that they are not feasible because of the exhorbitant premuims. They are simply not worth it making them more of a hype that a realistic solution.
Premiums are way to high to be practical. Or economic.
Thanks Catherine
We do need some guidance at least how and where to look for companies that helps the world

Regarding the bad governance problem in the world today:
What happens when the financial and fiat monetary systems unravel even more over the next few years? Wouldn’t that create problems for Mr Global?
Mr Global is also completely dependent on the compliance of enforcers such as police, politicians, courts, military – who are for the most part not “in the know” on what the real agenda is. So a lot of money and effort goes into propaganda and censorship to keep these people in particular in the dark.
The big question is what happens when a lot of these enforcers see what is going on (eg. vaxx damage). I think this also has the potential to be a real turning point regarding Mr Global’s grip on power and governance.
There seems to be a decent possibility that at least some countries will get better governance, which in turn would make crypto a more attractive option in those jurisdictions.
El Salvador is already using Bitcoin as an official form of payment and they seem to be doing very well, despite the fallen crypto prices. Quite a few other countries in Latin America and Africa were considering doing the same.
BTC, and CC in general, will never be allowed if not able to be regulated. It is the way. I dabbled in cc, made and lost some $$, to learn the system. Upon what I consider to be sound/knowledgeable advice, I have one whitelisted BTC on a hard wallet. That is my exposure, and I consider it a well-placed risk – I can lose it or, per my belief, it will be true wealth a few years down the road.
One BIG thing to keep in mind are the consequences of the coming cosmological events in the next 2-3 decades that could make the issue of CC and the grid a moot subject, as we reset once again into another new civilization.
Preparing for family/friends to survive is of MUCH more importance in light of the current global war on the population and the coming cosmo events.
Anyway, just my own 2cents, lol, which is only of value to me and my circle. Thankful for all you do, Catherine, and greatly appreciate your ongoing efforts. 🙂
I recently received my ARRP magazine, and one of the main articles is “RIP Cash”. It goes on to explain that it’s actually legal despite what the constitution says. That is followed by paragraphs explaining how much easier it will make your life. There’s no mention of CBDC and I doubt there be
As it’s not going to be necessary for them to explain anything. People do not ( and most likely will not) understand that not accepting cash in stores means their fiat money no longer exists. Unfortunately, most won’t see that until it’s too late. Cashless stores are in every major airport from what I understand. All you do is tap your card to get in the plexiglas swinging doors, put what you want in your bag & walk out the exit plexiglas swinging doors. These stores are placed so that if you want some water you either use the system or go to another terminal. I can only hope I have enough time ( about 1.5 years) to finish preparing for the inevitable.
I listened to both sides of the crypto debate with an open mind. My adult children advise to buy a small amount ( or what you can easily afford) and simply forget about it. It sounds harmless enough when explained within those parameters. I would not put very much into crypto after watching this discussion. Thank you for a fantastic debate, and caring as much as you do. I wish those of us that are like minded on the matter were able to organize ourselves to build a multi state/country community that we can all default to as the inevitable unfolds.
Well, a lot of freedom loving people are concentrating into a few states and places. Lets see what happens. You never know.
We are truly counting on it. I have faith in the people who are paying attention, and the people who are leading such as yourself. Thank you ??
I agree.
Bitcoin used to give me a very uneasy, uncertain feeling when I used it.
“Too good to be true” kind of feeling.
I’ve gone from a Bitcoin and credit card user to someone using cash 90% now.
Thanks to the plandemic and the can of worms it opened for me.
Real physical assets beats all the other asset forms IMO.
🙂
