Jim Leach, R-Iowa, who headed the House Banking Committee, announced on Sept. 1, 1999 that the Russia scandal could prove to be “one of the greatest social robberies in human history.”
Based on preliminary inquiries, Leach declared that he was “very confident” that at least $100 billion had been laundered out of Russia, an unknown portion of which may have been diverted from the International Monetary Fund and other foreign aid loans.”

In the year I’ve had a subscription, I’ve learned a great deal on your site Catherine.
Today, I just caught up with this story and put together that I have been targeted by a Harvard banker who worked at the Bank of New York during the Rape of Russia. I think he also may have sat on the Macy’s committee with Gregory Bateson, who was working on double binds and how to create schizophrenia.
