By Catherine Austin Fitts
This Thursday, I will be speaking with author and activist Katherine Albrecht. Katherine is simply amazing – her ability to understand, articulate and communicate the invasive uses of new, invisible technology and to suggest practical solutions to protect our personal privacy is without parallel. Her efforts to champion our privacy rights have made a critical difference. Katherine is one of our heroes – someone we recommend for your support.
I will start with Money and Markets and Ask Catherine. Keep those great questions coming – post your questions  for both Katherine and Catherine on the blog.
In Let’s Go to the Movies, I will review Shadow Government, a documentary that explores the secretive and dangerous world of domestic and international surveillance. It makes invisible technology visible in a very dramatic way and features great interviews with Katherine Albrecht.
Talk to you Thursday!
Thank you for an excellent interview. Both Fitts and Albrecht are doing an excellent service to humanity.
Although no mention was made about browsers, I’m thinking that one should also switch from using Chrome, as it’s a Google product.
When I was in high school, I learned from one of my teachers that if you ever need an excuse to give to the other “guys”, for anything…
All you need to say is that you were with a “chick”. They may not like it, they may not agree, but they”ll understand. And that’s it.
No need to go into details.
Now, what’s going on in the CIA…?
Years ago, I even heard from the mouth of Gordon Liddy that the Watergate brake in was all about “chicks”, and trying to protect certain individuals from complications stemming from their hidden associations, & activities. It was all in the files.
I’d be interested in hearing your and Albrecht’s comments about Petraeus’s use of Gmail for his personal email, along with Broadwell’s use of Gmail for her ‘anonymous’ emails to and about Jill Kelley. The FBI was able to trace them and hence gain access to their other Gmail accounts, and other people’s Gmail accounts, etc. leading all the way to General Allen in Afghanistan. Whoa. And these are national security professionals?
I’m not in any way associated with national security, yet I’ve always followed the maxim “Don’t put anything in email you’re not comfortable reading in the NYTimes.” How can a person be head of the CIA and not be aware of this simple rule? The mind boggles.
Broadwell has a security clearance, and is studying for a PhD in national security affairs. Yet, she just casually blurted out at an alumni function in Denver that the CIA was holding 2 prisoners at the Benghazi facility and the attack might have been an effort to free them. Apparently not cognizant of the fact that the CIA has been ordered by Obama NOT to keep prisoners, and revealing this information could get Petraeus in very deep trouble? What’s your speculation as to what’s going on here?
Looking forward to the conversation.
Question from a Subscriber that I will address this week:
Regarding the election, you were spot on! Your were right. I can’t remember if we had a wager. If we did, you won and I owe.
I am now officially politically agnostic! The “fix” was in sometime ago. Explain to me the following few questions…
1.) How does the republican candidate spend 2 years of his life and close to $800 million on the general election only to concede within 2.5 hours of the Ohio poles closing. And then never to be heard from again. As they say in Tennessee – that Dog Don’t Hunt!
2.) Hurricane Sandy blasting (HAARP) through the Democratic stronghold, New Jersey, NY, Cleveland, etc.. Only to have the President be “loved on” by the New Jersey Governor. What was that all about? Did the powers to be, tell Christie to make the President look Presidential. Because it worked.
3) “They” (who are they anyway) declared Obama the winner in States like Tennessee 15 minutes after the poles closed. “They” didn’t even do any exit poling. But they declared Obama the winner anyway.
You don’t have to answer these questions because I have more where they came from.
I will say one thing about the election, the Dems may be fraudulent in voting, but the Reps are just as culpable. I don’t know which is worse?
I am moving closer to your way of thinking
Dear Catherine –
Gee, what a surprise! Petraeus caught in a honey-pot right before testimony on Benghazi. The real problem is that I’m not surprised by these melodramas anymore. But I AM surprised that people seem to be buying the cover story. It’s feels like the whole country has just passed through Alice’s looking glass!!
Like Cynthia (above), I would appreciate your insights on the Petraeus story.
Do you suspect an alternative explanation for Petraeus’s quick departure from the CIA?
I am hoping you could address this at the beginning of Thursday’s Solari Report.
