The Solari Model works to improve lives and communities through various means and methods. It strives to increase the wealth of each venue of a person’s life. Consider for a moment that not only are your health and finances abundant, but so they would be for your children, your neighbors, your community, and your local economy.

Ears to the Ground is another venue that works to increase your quality of living in a different way. The progress of a civilization can be judged by its art and music. If the wealth of the music around you is reinforced, then it is reinforced for the entire ecosystem of your community.

Jimi Hendrix once said, “Music doesn’t lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.”

Music has carried a great capacity to turn the wheels of change. It gives people a common interest and a collective passion. But it cannot be fully appreciated or supported from afar.

Today the mass majority of musicians can not sustain a way of life from record sales or record labels. The major music industry and corporate labels have suffered great losses in a war to line their own pockets rather than support their artists.

In many scenarios we can help cut out the middle man. A musician wants an audience and an audience wants an entertainer. The greatest and most direct way to support an artist is to see them in person. Their greatest revenue comes from ticket sales and merchandise.

The Solari Team is composed of very passionate people who indeed love music. Though we all come from different walks of life, we share a common passion for the music around us and it can be seen every Friday with our music choices on the weekends. However, playing you successful music that has stood for decades or generations isn’t enough for us.

We here at Solari have begun to put our ears to the ground and listen. We’ve begun to seek out artists that enrich a culture with a voice that hasn’t carried far enough from it’s own small ecosystem. So once a month, we will unveil a new artist that works away from the mainstream that you can bet we’ve seen live and in person. Since most of our team currently resides in Tennessee, we’ll be bringing you a lot of music from Nashville and Memphis. You can find our reviews and suggestions each month under the heading “Ears to the Ground.” You can also send your suggestions and reviews to AVSupport@wordpressdevurl.com.

So consider for a moment a culture around you where music churns and grows like an organism all around you and your ear won’t have to be on the ground to find it.

This month we bring you ‘moe.’ A calling to the Jam Bands of the 1970’s, moe. packs a full house where ever they travel. With 15 minute song structures or moments of grooving that escalate you to a whole different world, we highly suggest tracking these guys down on the road and bringing them to a town near you.
