(The above Toon is an earlier draft of this month’s Solari Toon)

(The Solari Toon creator makes some comments about Catherine’s critique of an earlier draft)

I think some might like to see the first cartoon I submitted to Catherine Austin Fitts, editor of the Solari Report. Here is her reply to me. It portrays accurately the kind of strong sincerity that accompanies a clear vision. You see why I love this lady…

Bob:

This is about the puppet, not the real player. It is about the excuse, not the real, deeper reason.

So it does not illuminate, nor educate.

It is entertaining, pretty, clever – but in the same way as the Huffington Post is. – fashionable and powerless.

Even if it is less entertaining, I would prefer to have something about the real forces at work and that makes the reader smarter and shifting into a more powerful mode personally.

Does that make sense?

The top guys want us to take out our frustration on the puppets. I don’t want to encourage our readers to fall into that cycle.

Which is no doubt why Huffington gets more hits.

Best regards,

Catherine
