“Rise like Lions after slumber

In unvanquishable number,

Shake your chains to earth like dew

Which in sleep had fallen on you-

Ye are many — they are few”

~Percy Bysshe Shelley

By Catherine Austin Fitts

This week on The Solari Report Jon Rappoport takes us into the mystery of our most intimate situation. How do some of us avoid being controlled? How do some of us avoid contributing to control? How did someone start life dreaming of becoming a fireman who saved lives and instead end up at a federal agency designing new surveillance techniques to help create a new form of slavery and mind control?

There is no more important question at the heart of finding real solutions. Friendly fascism is implemented day to day by millions of people all around the world. We have the power to walk away – to put down work that does harm and seek that which lifts up humanity and is most in our heart to do.

Contemplating our own complicity in all that is happening around us is a first, critical step to finding our power.

As always, Jon’s insights are original and profound, reflecting as rich an understanding of the life we are living today as you will find.

It’s Jon’s show this week – so no Money & Markets. Do post your questions for us on the blog!

  1. Can the reference and source of the article Jon drew from in this week’s show be posted? Loved the themes covered, on doing your best, and, some blunt shock talk to systems thinkers, especially those who have figured out how to sell their talent. – Allison, Kenya

  2. We have to get back to the essence of our True Self. The media is constantly encouraging diversion into consumerism, competition and fear. Earphones seem to be the normal attire. I know by True Self. When I use the technique of the Breath of Mindfulness to enter into the Stillness of no thought or emotion, I am just me conscious of breathing and being still. When the Still point is recognized, it acts as a reference to subtle feelings as well as to thoughts and emotions. Via many visits to the Stillness, I recognize when I am thinking and feeling, and when I am driven by emotions. That gives me the conscious power to choose to continue thinking or to ask where that emotion comes from, perhaps from a past trauma I had experienced and made judgments about welling out of my subconsciousness or perhaps from somewhere else, perhaps it comes from a community issue or from someone I am encountering. My asking sets me up to receive the answer eventually and even immediately. I know my identity. I love my Self. I do not need to bolster my identity via esteem of others or by taking on a group identity like wrapping oneself in one’s country’s flag or a saving religion’s church. We have to grow out of our childhood traumas that lead us into Faustian bargains by welcoming upsets and asking what judgments I can give up that are blocking me loving or being loved that this upset is revealing. Jon’s once dreaming-to-be-a-fireman is stuck by his judgement on the value of being a fireman that ignores the bigger picture he was presented with as an adult. – Ken Norton (Elaine’s partner)
