I think Kyle does a great job of connecting the dots!
They dont control everything…WE do.
I think that is the critical message, is that often times WE make poor decisions possible by apathy and a lack of attention to where our energy is going.
I agree! Thanks for posting my video.

“I think we have to acknowledge that THEY don’t control everything.”
AMEN!

Someone making a connection between a decision they make and the consequences. Now, I see this was “made possible” by the Carter Foundation – does that mean that this is a plot to get us to localize? I mean if the federal government changes the way a local bank/credit union invests its funds – then that means they will get all of us to live “locally” but ensnared in a trap/box that has been pre-determined for years.
I’m just saying this to ask a greater question:
How deep are we looking into some of this stuff – and how much of it is us creating this narrative and trying to see tentacles of an agenda/conspiracy that we are projecting?
Most people are ignorant of how laws are made and how their little contributions to change are only going to co-opted – I understand that. But the question is – is it correct to view things through the lens of this huge agenda with all these little details already sorted out or is it perhaps more realistic to understand how often times, legitimate and grass roots efforts are co-opted because of the nature of the way that the pro-centralization team has the economic/social system under control? THAT is the question – because I see Solari as having some resources to actually address the WAYS in which things are taken over and how to insulate oneself or one’s endeavours.
These large vested interests are looking for ways to keep going in the midst of changes and I think this is a huge point – I think we have to acknowledge that THEY don’t control everything. The world/universe/reality is bigger than they are and yes – they do have to adapt to survive to things beyond their control. At the same time that we have to acknowledge how many things are strategic and planned, we have to allow equal room for the perspective that there is no such thing as full spectrum dominance of every minute iota of everything(although it may be attempted). That the powers that be HAVE to contend with things that change – and that does include the environment and that there will be every attempt made to water down anything that gets in the way of their continued dominance. I don’t think the environmentalists have this huge backing that is able to overtake the huge amount of influence the oil, coal, auto, etc. have on our economic process. It is kind of strange to think of this grand conspiracy of sustainablity when you actually look at what kind of climate bills are passed. They are full of loopholes for the biggest polluters, full of ground floor opportunities for the banking industry(which has a HUGE stake in keeping the status quo going – meaning the environmentally destroying practices of their biggest loan recipients). What you basically are seeing are these compromise bills where the folks responsible for the most harming practices get away with it(meaning they have huge influence) and they come out with bills which may potentially just lay the burden of bureaucratic regulation, taxes, fines, etc. on the small producer – and potentially pushing them out of business.
